I decided to try a fun new workout so I headed to the International Dance Academy for one of their classes. Of course I wore my new Skechers ShapeUps.

What kind of workouts do you guys like to do? Are you more into yoga and dancing, do you like hiking or hitting the gym?

I wanted to share my full Shape Magazine spread for anyone who hasn’t picked up a copy yet!

I see a lot of comments from you guys asking what routines I do at the gym… so I gave a complete break down of the exercises I do all the time with my amazing trainer, Gunnar Peterson. We always mix strength moves with cardio intervals and I find that combination is what really works best for me… but everyone is different.

Do you guys have any favorite workout routines that work best for you?

Have any of you guys ever hiked at Runyon Canyon! I tried it the other day…. I usually am an indoor gym girl but thought I’d switch it up! It’s actually really nice to have some scenery to look at while you work out, haha!

Who Says You Can’t Work Out in Heels!?

I am thrilled to see the students of New York City taking the Get Fit Challenge seriously. My pick of the week is Rebecca from Rockefeller University who set out some great goals for herself like to putting only

healthy and natural things in my body, no drinking during the week, gaining physical and mental balance and getting friends involved. She even did a video blog of her and a girl friend working out in high heels to stay fashionable!! Just be careful in those heels, ladies. I love that they show how easy and fun it is- just grab a friend and make the most out of staying healthy
!

Self Discipline!

I workout at Gunnar Peterson’s gym in Los Angeles and his partner Gregg Miele was wearing a bracelet that simply said=”self discipline.” I asked what it was all about and he told me it’s very simple… you
wear the bracelet to remind you to be disciplined. When you consider
eating something you shouldn’t, or do something you shouldn’t, you snap it on your wrist and
get back to being focused. I loved this idea and immediately wanted one. He has
his own website called selfdiscipline.com. You guys should check it out and join in on the self discipline!

Dear Us Weekly, I Love ‘Forever 21′, But…

I feel that this clipping from Us Magazine is a bit misleading, so I wanted to comment on it.

I am a huge fan of Forever 21 and I’m very happy they have expanded their line to include a plus-size range, but I
am not in that size category and this article makes it sound like I am! I am a curvy girl and I love my curves, but curvy and plus-sized are two very different things. I work really hard to maintain my curves while staying slim and healthy, so to be classed as a “fuller-figured woman” of extra large proportions is a little offensive.

For the record, I am a size 2, not 2XL.
