Every year I really look forward to our annual Christmas card family photo shoot! It’s a family tradition that we have done since we were kids and it’s one of my favorite traditions our family has!

I love looking back at our old Christmas cards… seeing how everyone has changed and how our family has grown as the years have gone by. I feel blessed to have so many amazing Christmas memories with my family!! Do you guys have any family holiday traditions?

I was going through our old family photos and found this one of my dad with Kendall and Kylie when they were little. They used to call him Uncle Robert.

Kendall looks so adorable, and she still has that same sweet face. It’s so crazy how fast time flies. I just love looking back at old family pics and reminiscing. Today is always bitter sweet for me. Of course, each year I miss my dad so much. When we were younger, my dad would go around the dinner table and ask us each the peak and pit of our day. The peak of my day today is knowing that I have a loving, supportive father figure in Bruce, who treats me and my sisters as if we were his own. Bruce, I love you! The pit is that my dad isn’t here to share in our family experiences, but I know he is looking down on us all and I am so grateful for the lessons he taught me and the memories I’ll always have of him.

To all the fathers out there, Happy Father’s Day. This is your day… enjoy it!!!!

My sisters and I are so lucky to have had two very strong, loving and truly inspirational father figures in our lives. Many of you know my father passed away from cancer in 2003 and not a day goes by that I don’t think of him. But each day I am grateful for the lessons he taught me.

I remember when I got my very first job and he had me donate 10% of all of my earnings to the church. This is something I continue to do to this day, and is part of the reason I like to be involved with the Dream Foundation as much as possible.

I know there is so much more I could have learned from him, but Bruce has continued to provide me with so many life lessons and I admire him so much for taking on three daughters, and treating us as if we were his own. Thank you Bruce, for always being there for us. I know we are quite a handful at times!!

Dad, I’ll be thinking of you on Sunday. I know you are looking down on us all, and on little Mase. I see you every time I look into his eyes.

When I was a kid we used to go on skiing vacations to Vail,
Colorado. We would eat goulash soup and drink hot chocolate.
I’ve gone since I was two years old with my mom and dad and then when
my parents got divorced my dad continued to take us kids. This vacation
was always so memorable and so much fun! Of course, there was always some family drama,
but that’s what made the vacations so memorable. And we always left with a few bumps and bruises to remind us of the fun we had.

This old school pic is at my high school graduation. My parents threw me
and my best friend Allison a big celebratory lunch at an Italian
restuarant called Toscana.  My dad, Bruce, even MJ and my papa were
there! That’s a lunch I will never forget!

This is a pic of my dad in our kitchen in the house I grew up in. Look
at that wallpaper! What were my parents thinking!? I really loved that
house! I would do anything to go back in and see if any of it is the
same. Do you guys ever wish you could go back to the home you grew up
in and see what it looks like now?

Reggie and I went to Miami to attend the Rush Philanthropic charity event thrown by Russell Simmons.

I was hosting the event which was about helping to save the arts.

I truly am inspired by Russell and feel like he has taught me so much about giving back.

My mom and Bruce would always have us attend Special Olympics events.

It’s never about the money, it’s about time dedication.

There’s always something you can do to give back and help out your community.

This is a pic of my dad and me at my 8th grade graduation.

My best friend Simone and I went to Chinatown to get long white Chinese dresses with clear jelly shoes! We thought we were so stylish!

Everyone at graduation had to walk down holding that same bouquet of flowers as they called our name to get our diplomas.

I graduated 8th grade from St. Martin of Tours private catholic school. I went for just one year before I went to Marymount Jr. High School!

Over the weekend the gang got together to hit up a new club in L.A. called ‘My House’ that Frankie was promoting. We first ate at Nobu before heading out to the club. Everyone from Caroline to Sabrina joined us. We danced all night and had so much fun!

This old school pic is of my mom in Hawaii when she was 24. She and my dad were on vacation. They loved Hawaii! Isn’t my mom sooo pretty! I love her. Doesn’t my mom look like Khloe?

This picture was taken at Khloe’s sweet 16. I was 19 years old… I remember this day so vividly!

My dad and mom and Bruce together threw her this party! Both sets of grandparents were there and all of our close friends!

I remember Kourtney and I invited all of our friends to the party! Ahhh Khlo! The good old days!

Every year my dad’s brother Tom and his sister Barbara get together at
my cousin’s house and we make my Nana’s traditional beeshee breakfast!

All my cousin’s go there with their kids. It’s a lot of fun catching up
with everyone.

As you can see, a lot of my dad’s side of the family are
blonde… So, again, that’s where Khloe gets her coloring from!

Did you go to more than one holiday family celebration this year?

Reggie re-injured his knee during the last game he played. So now he is on injury reserve and will be home until next season.

It’s was tough on his knee, playing so soon after having surgery the first time!

We will be home for the holidays and we are going to spend it with both of our families together!

I picked him up from the airport recently and we met up with Rob, Kourt, Jonathan and Frankie at Dan Tana’s.

This old school pic is of me and my grandmother. We always called her “Nana.” She is my Dad’s mother and her real name is Helen Kardashian.

She passed away earlier this year…

Once my father passed away, she was never the same. She had three children, my aunt Barbara, my uncle Tommy then the baby of the bunch… my dad!

My grandmother is full Armenian. It’s actually very typical to have blond hair and light eyes being full Armenian. This is where Khloe gets her coloring from, in case you have been wondering.

Nana was seriously so much fun! She lived right near my parents growing up and also had a house in Palm Springs that we always spent so much time at.

She was your typical Armenian grandmother: always cooking the best Armenian meals, our favorite which was this Armenian breakfast called “beeshe”! I’m not sure if that’s even how you spell it but it’s basically a fried pancake with lots of sugar on top!

She passed along the recipe but Kourtney is the only one in our entire Kardashian family who has mastered it. So every year in December my dad’s side of the family gets together and Kourtney makes it for us all!

I miss my Nana so much!

This was in Vail, Colorado, when I was about 18 maybe (I actually can’t remember exactly)! It’s Kourtney on the left, my dad in the middle and me on the right! I absolutely love to ski and have skied since I could walk! We would always ski every Thanksgiving with my dad! When I have kids, I’m for sure going to make Thanksgiving a skiing tradition too!

I just want to let you all know how thankful I am for you, my fans, and that I wish you a safe and healthy Thanksgiving!

Every year I used to spend it with my dad skiing in Vail, Colorado —  those were my favorite Thanksgivings ever!

Do you guys enjoy a good read now and again? I have a book I want to recommend to you all! My father was really big on reading! He would read a huge book every week! He always gave us books he wanted us to read! I have about a dozen he wanted me to read that I still haven’t gotten around to! Dad, I promise I will get to them!

Years ago he gave me this book called “Embraced by the Light.” It’s a story about a woman who passed away during a surgery gone wrong and she ended up coming back to life! She remembers her entire journey to heaven and her encounter with God! I wasn’t ready to read this book when my father gave it to me! He promised it was very short and I would read it in a few days! I still didn’t believe him and put it on my shelf for years! When my father passed away I came across the book and kind of as a favor for him I decided to read it! This book changed my life!

Hearing the story about a woman who passed away and descriptively explained what heaven was like, I feel I understood where my dad was! Her amazing journey gave me comfort and peace and if any of you have lost a loved one, I really recommend it! I can’t stress any more how special this book is to me! I’d love to hear what you guys think of it if you have already read it!

Today is the day my father passed away five years ago. I can’t even believe it has been that long.

It seems like our lives have changed so much in these past five years. Every tough thing that would come our way, it seemed my dad was watching over us and protecting us and somehow we would make it through and come out even stronger!

There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about him or wish he were here. I often have really real dreams about him, where I wake up so mad it was just a dream. I miss him so much!

Today is a hard day, but my reason for this post is to honor my dad! He was the most amazing dad, husband, son, brother and my best friend!

I love you, Dad!

I am so absolutely touched by it and think this is the coolest idea ever!

While I was in Milan, Italy, Kourtney, my mom and MJ went to Lake Como, my dad‘s favorite place!

Reggie slept in the hotel because he was exhausted and jet lagged, and I went to work for E! It’s so cool that the E! studios in Milan are so similar to the ones in Los Angeles!

Oh, and thank heaven they found my luggage after four days missing! Those brand new Chanel shoes that you see me wearing with the attached sock cuff were in that bag from Monaco! (I added my photo credit to the top of the photo so you can see the shoes better — ha!)
