Midweek Makeup Look: Bronzed
July 18, 2012 / 12 CommentsNothing says summer makeup like a gorgeous bronze glow! When I want a soft summer glow my makeup artist uses a bronzing powder on the cheek bones and up around the hairline to define the face and give that all around glow that I love! For my recent all-over bronzed look Rob Scheppy used a matte bronzer by Smashbox called Suntan Matte and then applied a gold shimmer dust by Victoria’s Secret on the legs and décolleté. You can choose whether you want to go more shimmery or keep it matte. I like to keep my cheeks bronzed and shimmery, but my overall face a more matte bronze.
If you want to go for a more subtle bronze look try using a soft bronzy eye shadow with a little black liner and pale pink cheeks. So pretty for summer! Hope you guys enjoy the tips!

Midweek Makeup Look: 60s Style
July 11, 2012 / 6 CommentsI’ve always been a big fan of 60s style… from the hair to the clothing and especially the makeup! Sixties makeup is all about defined lines, dramatic eyes, pale skin and light lips. I love the contrast of the heavy lashes and liner with the simplicity of a nude lip! I LOVE the pic of Audrey Hepburn in the gallery with the thick liner and lots of sparkle… so gorgeous!! Click through the gallery for some tips and tricks from makeup artist Rob Scheppy on creating the 60s look!
