She is a Los Angeles native who traveled all the way to Kathmandu, Nepal, to gain inspiration for her bohemian bracelets and bags. She even lived with a shaman in a mud hut in the hills of the Himalayas while filming a documentary on Hindus and Buddhists.

When she got back to the states, she says she began to approach design with a whole new perspective…
