I am still obsessed with thigh high boots! I used to think they were very Pretty Woman, but they are super stylish and I love them! My favorite
outfit is LNA leggings with these Report Signature boots!

Komplete Kardashian: Three O’s Vodka Party

July 22, 2009 / 25 Comments

I think my stylist Monica and my makeup artist Mario are spending too much time together because without even knowing that Monica had posted a ‘Get the Look’ for my Three O’s vodka party in NYC, he posted a ‘Get the Face’ for the same look, haha!! So we now have a Komplete Kardashian… as Mario calls it!!

Head over to Mario’s blog to see how you can recreate the makeup look we went for. This was actually the first time we’ve done a really dark smokey eye, because we thought it would go perfectly with my black and white outfit. Bold and beautiful!

Let me know if any of you try out this look!

Make It Matte This Fall

July 20, 2009 / 19 Comments

This fall it’s all about matte nail polish!! You can alternate matte and glossy by doing a matte nail and a glossy tip or vice versa. I have been wearing an army green nail polish by Orly called Enchanted Forest from their Once Upon a Time fairy tail inspired collection and that’s my new obsession! It’s like a deep forest green and it’s so gorgeous! I might try to matte-ify the tips with a darker color and see how it looks!

Also OPI has the best
matte top coat that makes black look like rubber! I love it when new nail trends come out. We were all into the skittles colored nails this summer and now we’re making it dark and sexy for the fall.

Monica’s Style File: My Three O’s Look for Less

July 20, 2009 / 24 Comments

My stylist Monica Rose has done another amazing ‘Get the Look’ post on her blog! I loved this outfit I wore to the Three Olive’s bubble flavor vodka party! It was so vibrant with the zebra print dress and turquoise clutch.

Check out her post to see how you can recreate my look for less! These pieces are a total bargain and look so much like the items I wore. Monica does such a great job at finding these, so make sure you thank her!

If you missed her ‘Get the Look’ for my night out with the girls at STK look, make sure you check it out!

StyleSpot Recreate my Topshop Look

July 14, 2009 / 13 Comments

I came across this great new website StyleSpot.com! They specialize in tracking down all the pieces that make up a celebrity’s look and then recreate their own version of the look, and a budget version of the look using similar pieces. So far they have done six of mine!!

I love their take on my Topshop look from the Aces and Angels celebrity charity poker party at the Playboy Mansion. Make sure you check out the website for the budget look and to see the other looks!

My Number One Travel Accessory

June 24, 2009 / 154 Comments

For some reason I just can’t get into Ray-Ban sunglasses! They just don’t
look good one me! My absolute favorite brand of sunglasses is Dita! They make the coolest pairs of glasses that are stylish and are such great quality and really sturdy, which is really important for me in a pair of glasses since I can’t stand those flimsy ones that you know are going to get broken in five minutes! I travel a lot and the best accessory to
any outfit is a good pair of sunglasses so that you can wear no make up
and no one will ever see how you look because the glasses cover it all! Haha.

Get My Chic Bob Look

June 23, 2009 / 27 Comments

The Frisky have done a really cute blog about how to get my short cropped bob look that I wore to the MuchMusic Video Awards. You all know I would never just cut off all my hair just like that for one night’s red carpet, so I had Ken Paves and Roberta Rogers work their magic on my hair to create a shorter look for the evening. It turned out great!

Nina Carbone at The Frisky has given a 4-step guide on how to create a similar look without chopping off your hair.

Step #1 Start with sorta dirty hair (unwashed hair is the key to
pretty much every up-’do because the second-day oil equal major texture
and lots for hair pins to cling on to). If you’ve got stick straight
hair, drag out the curling iron (or curl your hair in rollers if you
got ‘em) and wind random sections around the barrel of a one inch or
larger iron. The more haphazard the better. Keep clicking for more
faux-bobs and additional instructions.

For steps 2, 3 and 4 click on the pic of me at the awards above!!

Let me know if you guys try out the look!
