A Little Shimmer Goes a Long Way

I was always afraid of shimmer, thinking it would make me look oily, but I tried it out and I think it looks dewy and glowy. What do you guys think? Although I wouldn’t put
too much on, a little goldish shimmer can be very pretty!

I went for my first eyebrow shaping with Anastasia last week and wow, do I
love my brows!!! She is the queen of eyebrows! When I went to her salon I discovered this new Lash Lifting Mascara that is incredible! I swear, I literally need one coat and my eyelashes have so much volume
and curl. Usually I feel like I have to keep applying coats to build up
volume, but this mascara is perfect!!! It has hard waxes and synthetic
polymers in that help build lashes to give volume.

Back to Matte

This is that OPI nail polish I was telling you about! I love it! It looks like rubber!
I had to add a twist so I did a clear coat on the tips to look like French tip nails, but in black! My mom didn’t know about matte polish and when I showed her she said “never use this
polish… it’s very dull and doesn’t look shiny at all!” I told her that was the whole point! She has no idea! Haha.

My wonderful makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic recently answered a bunch of fan questions on his blog
about makeup looks, application tips, products and how he achieves
certain looks. If there’s anyone I trust with my face, it’s Mario, and
I really think you guys can learn a lot from him. He’s given me my own personal makeup lessons before,
and I’m working on putting a video together, like the ones I did with
Mario in February, so that you guys can get some more makeup tips and see
how he creates my looks.

Shade of red

A fan named “Hawaii” recently wrote in asking what shade of lipstick I wore when I was in Miami at the Fontainbleau opening.

Well, I love red lips, and I should wear them more often! It’s so bold!
I love how Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani wear red lips all the
time. This color is by MAC and it’s called Russian Red, with Russian Red
lip gloss on top.
