I get bored with my hair looks easily so I am always trying to find creative ways to change up my style. One easy and fun way to elevate your look without chopping off your locks is by adding clip-in bangs. It’s a temporary way to completely transform your look for the night! You can add the clip-in bangs to a high pony like I did when I went to a perfume event in LA a while ago or you can go for a sexier look by straightening your long locks and framing your face with some fringe. Now that spring is officially here, there are two trends that are musts this season. I am loving ombre hair and hot pink lips. When it comes to hair, I saw a lot of tousled and beachy ombre waves on the runway. The sun-kissed locks are perfect for the warmer weather. Go bold with your makeup by incorporating a hot pink lip! Nothing is sexier than a pretty pink pout. Will you be incorporating these trends into your spring look? Xo

I had to dye my hair back dark for the winter. After Miami I was honestly just soooo over it being light and listened to the suggestions to take my hair back to my natural color!

I’m wearing a Kardashian Kollection dress with a Givenchy trench coat and Balmain Giuseppe Zanotti boots! LA is much colder than I thought it would be! Xo

I saw a few of you tweeting me about my bangs!! The bangs are fake! Just clip ons! I had a fun Cosmo cover shoot yesterday and Chris McMillan clipped these on!

I’m always open to trying new hair looks and switching things up, and recently I’ve been really into the sleek, slicked back look. Here’s my little how-to guide on creating this look. You don’t need long hair to make this look work! It works great with shorter lengths, too!

- For this look to work you need your hair to be slightly damp, so after washing your hair, towel dry until just slightly damp, or if your hair is already dry, add some water to dampen it up.

- Use a comb, not a hair brush, and comb your hair from the front near your forehead, to the back, in sections, making sure to get out all of those tricky knots.

- Now for the hair gel. Use a wet-look gel and apply using the palms of your hands to the front and sides of your head. Leave the back of your hair gel-free so that it falls back naturally.

- Grab your comb and comb the hair from front to back again to secure in place and apply a light layer of hairspray. Voila!!

Blonde hair don’t care

This week I was totally inspired by Chanel’s pre-fall 2012 head jewelry. I’ve always been a fan of head jewelry, which is why i incorporated some hair chains into my original Belle Noel jewelry line. There’s just something so feminine and fun about dressing up you hair.

Take a look through the gallery to see my head jewelry inspirations. I love the simple gold band that delicately wraps around the pony tail, and the delicate hippy-chic head chains. And those Chanel pieces just make such a statement! Would you guys wear head jewelry? Xo

Ok, so I know side parts aren’t technically makeup, but I wanted to switch it up and do a hair post this week!

There are many ways to wear a side part… sleek and chic, old-school Hollywood glam, in a fun fishtail braid, casual and a little messy, (pinned up loosely, or down in loose waves.) Try different styles and see what works best with the shape of your face. Hair will fall naturally in place differently from person to person, to see what works best for you.

Of course, my personal favorite is to wear a side part with retro curls and volume… channeling old school glamour! What style do you guys like the most? Xo

Longer & lighter hair for the summer…do you like?

In place of my ‘Midweek Makeup’ blog posts I wanted to switch it up today and do a midweek hair style blog about one of my absolute favorite looks for summer… hair braids! I’ve been seeing them everywhere, from low, loose plaits to fishtail braids, and braided up do’s!

My makeup artist Rob Scheppy, who is also a fabulous hair stylist, put together a step-by-step guide to creating a gorgeous fishtail braid here, so make sure you check it out! I love the loose, kind of messy looking fishtails. A great look for a casual day at lunch with friends and perfect for keeping your hair in place for a day at the beach!

My friend Scott created this sleek hairstyle for Kim’s appearance at the Cruel Summer premiere in Cannes. I asked him if he would share how he achieved this with everyone. Here you go!!!

“So first, start with applying Tigi Catwalk Your Royal Highness root boost for volume at the roots, which I love cuz it’s not sticky but gives great volume. Then I take the mohawk section of the hair and blow out each section back and away from the face. Hit the ends with a flat iron to make it super straight. Finally, Take Oribe Rock Hard Gel with a teasing brush, start at the roots and comb the hair about half way down the hair shaft to allow the ends to remain clean and free of product. I gave Kim this great slicked back look yet still giving her hair movement” -Scott

I stopped by the Radio One studios in London to chat on their radio show! Did you guys notice I cut my hair? Just a little shorter! I thought it was time for a change, what do you think?

This is a cool hair trick I learned! When I want to pin my hair out of my face, but I don’t want that dent that you get in your hair when you pin it, I just put a piece of tissue in it so it doesn’t crease! It’s a great trick to know for when you do your makeup. Do you guys have any beauty tips to share?

Hey dolls! It’s been a while since I did a weekly round up post, but I had a little time to spare on my flight home from Miami so thought I’d put one together for the weekend in case you guys missed anything this week. It’s been such a fun week for me. A perfect mix of work and play! Started out the week with new hair and a fab new Kardashian Kollection shoot! Then headed to Miami to support Lala at the Market America convention and spend some quality time with my Miami BFFs. Now I’m back in LA and missing the Miami vibe!

As for my new color, I went to Rebecca Friedman at Goodform Salon! We went for a gorgeous chocolate brown color with sun-kissed streaks and I’m really loving the new color. Xo

Happy Saturday, dolls!! I found this pic on my computer that I took before attending The Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation Ball in October and I thought it would be fun to do a blog on buns!!

I think buns are the perfect hair style for showing off some fab statement earrings or a gorgeous necklace, or are a simple style to go for when you don’t want to spend a lot of time styling your hair. Kourt‘s been wearing her hair up in buns a lot too recently!
