Karfashian: Frock (flip) flop
January 23, 2009 / 29 CommentsThere are a few things going on in this photo that The Diva, who mailed this in, points out… “I was in LA with my sister and we went to a club. I took this pic of this girl who committed a fashion ‘no-no.’ She had on black knee highs with gold flip flops and a green skirt…” I agree, Diva. She should have, instead, ditched the knee-highs and flip flops for some cute heels, maybe even platform mary janes to match her purse. A black, high-waisted belt would have improved the look, too, and flattered her figure. The Diva suggested a “cute sandal with a heel… with lots of bangles, a layered necklace, and a cute metallic tote.” Great thinking! Do you have a Karfashian find for me? Finding inspiration in San Jose
December 8, 2008 / 136 CommentsFriday night I went to San Jose with my friend Jonathan. He and I so needed to catch up and this was the perfect opportunity. We are working on a few TV projects together and we were able to get up-to-speed on all of the work we needed for our upcoming meetings! I had no idea San Jose was so cold! It was freezing down there… But the club we went to called Wet was crazy fun! I totally hung out and took lots of pics! Jonathan was snapping away on my camera, too. After seeing some of the pics and how fabulous everyone was all glammed up, he suggested that we do some sort of look-a-like contest where you guys submit pictures of yourself dressed as me for an ultimate prize. I noticed a comment that said the same thing, too! I’m going to brainstorm the perfect idea for the contest and get back to you soon! Until we figure it out, check out my photos from San Jose!
Pulling it together in Ottawa
November 29, 2008 / 44 CommentsLast weekend I went to Ottawa, Canada. The club Parliament was a lot of fun, but it was getting there that was the problem! They lost my luggage and all I had was a tank and jeans in 20-degrees and snow! Thank goodness Carla came with me. I borrowed her stuff and we pulled it together in order to make it in time! Last time I went to Canada, they lost Brittny’s luggage. It can be the most frustrating thing ever. They finally found it and I have it back. Overall, the trip was worth it! I love Ottawa!
