Silent Auction Fundraiser for Children's Organ Transplant Association Hosted by Mario Lopez

Hey everyone! Do you remember the brave young guy I posted about back in December? Well I just got an update that Zeke had surgery late last night and as of midnight, he now has a new heart!!! He is currently recovering at UCLA and not out of the woods yet, but this is such incredible new. Now more than ever his family needs the support as bills will start to pile when he gets out of the hospital, and they have set up a fund-raiser to help raise funds for Zeke.

100% of money raised through ticket sales and the silent auction will go to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association, and the event is hosted by my good friend Mario Lopez and Maria Menounos and held at the Farmer’s Market at The Grove on February 21!

You can get tickets for the event and help take part in the fundraiser here: helpzeke.com

Kim Kardashian Charity Event Dress for Success Worldwide

Hey dolls!!! I’m in Paris right now for fashion week and I’m so excited to be here!! Can’t wait to see all the amazing shows and see what the designers have been working on. Fashion week is always so inspiring!

I just wanted to tell you about a fab event I’m hosting on March 22 in West Hollywood! To celebrate my new fragrance, True Reflection, and in support of an amazing charity called Dress for Success Worldwide, I’ll be hosting a glamorous evening at The London West Hollywood and would like to invite you guys to join me.

You can purchase tickets online and a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sale goes to Dress for Success Worldwide, whose mission is to provide women with professional clothing and the tools they need to succeed in the workplace. They are truly an amazing charity and I’m so pleased to be a part of an event that will hopefully raise awareness and funds for a charity that helps disadvantaged young women succeed in life. Hope to see you there! Xo

Haiti Continues to Heal Two Years On

Kim Kardashian Haiti Earthquake Anniversary Two Years Photos

Today marks the two year anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, which killed more than 316,000 people and left 1.5 million people without homes. It is so hard for us to imagining waking up one day to find everything we own destroyed, everything we know turned upside down, our loved ones taken away in the blink of an eye. But this was the reality for thousands of Haitian people, who had little time to grieve their losses and bravely started rebuilding their world.

In December Maria Bello invited my mom and I out to Haiti to meet the amazing people who have made so much progress since the earthquake. I was amazed and inspired by how upbeat and strong the women I met were, despite everything they had been through. They took it upon themselves to start re-growing their economy and helping others do the same, and I have so much admiration for these women.

But even though they have come so far, there is still a long way to go. (more…)

So Inspired by This Amazing Girl!

Kim Kardashian Haiti Leanna Archer Hair Products Charity Foundation

I met the most amazing young girl in Haiti. Leanna Archer is just 16 years old, and is CEO, owner and founder of Leanna’s Inc., and founder of the Leanna Archer Education Foundation for underprivileged children in Haiti. She came to speak at the Haitian Artisan Fair and I was honestly blown away by her story. She started making her own hair products at the age of eight and shortly after launched her own company! She would take her grandmother’s formula and package them in her baby brother’s baby food jars.

Her products were such a great success and in 2008 Leanna launched the Leanna Archer Education Foundation. Leanna uses the money she makes from the sales of her products to help kids in Tabar, Haiti, providing over 200 kids there with three meals every day. Her goal is to build a school and give individual attention to the kids in the town, based on their skills and needs.

It is just so incredible to see such a young girl be so selfless, so motivated, and dedicated to providing so much for those who are less fortunate than her. Leanna is one of the most incredible people I have ever met and I hope her story will inspire you all, not only to be driven to achieve your own dreams, but also to use your fortune and wisdom to help others who are less fortunate.
