Hey guys, it’s Rob Scheppy here! Kim is letting me do a couple of guest blogs on how to create her Cannes looks! Here’s a breakdown for her amfAR event look. Kim looked stunning in Elie Saab dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels!

For this ensemble Kim wanted to create a modern update of Hollywood’s iconic glamour. For the hair, start with Unite Blow and Set Lotion. Blow dry the hair and then use a 1 1/4 inch barrel iron, take large sections then pin them until they cool. When you get to the top and bangs section, switch to a smaller iron and create a smaller curl to give it that 40′s style. Once the hair is set, brush it out until it is smooth and spray with Unite Go365 Hairspray.

For the makeup I started with giving her a tangerine lip using Tom Ford in Wild Ginger. I gave Kim an all-over bronze glow with blush by Serge Lutens. We went dark and defined with the eyes, with a taupe eyeshadow and black eyeliner, both from YSL’s 2012 summer collection.
