Hi dolls. Today I wanted to bring awareness to a very serious issue that many of you might not be aware of. Every 69 seconds, somewhere in the world, a woman dies of breast cancer. This year more than 1.3 million women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and 500 women will be killed by the disease.

As many of you may know, my father died seven years ago today from cancer, so this is an issue that is very close my heart both as the daughter of someone who passed away from cancer, and as a woman.

Today I want to urge you to spend the next 69 seconds doing something to help fight breast cancer! Tell a friend to go get a check up, tweet a message with the hash tag #fightbreastcancer, update your Facebook status and tell all your friends that they can take 69 seconds to #fightbreastcancer at http://www.69-seconds.org, and go upload a pic of you wearing pink to the website!

My wonderful team over at ShoeDazzle took part in the Walk for the Cure for the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Orange County and starting tomorrow ShoeDazzle will have some fab pink products that help support breast cancer awareness. You guys are going to love them!!!!

OMG, you guys are going to LOVE this contest!! I’ve been waiting so patiently and now I can finally tell you guys all about it!

Sephora and I came up with the idea to have one of you design the art for a limited edition version of my rollerball fragrance that will be sold in October to support breast cancer awareness! Your own design will be on Sephora shelves nationwide, and I’ll be carrying it around in my purse :)

Lighthouse Beauty, the company I worked with to create my fragrance, will donate 10% of sales to the Young Survival Coalition. It is an
international organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women and breast cancer. I am so pleased that we can do something unique and exciting to help such a worthy cause, and I’m thrilled that I can make you guys such an important part of it!

My mom, Bruce and I attended a pink party last night! The party was to
raise awareness of breast cancer. The foundation is called the Pink
Agenda and the woman who started it lost her mother to breast cancer.
Pink Agenda partnered with Martini and Rossi who sponsored the party
with a pink Rose Champagne! The party was dipped in pink!

My grandma, MJ is a breast cancer survivor and she is my hero! I urge
everyone to get a mammogram and get a yearly pap smear, it can save
your life!
