Do you guys enjoy a good read now and again? I have a book I want to recommend to you all! My father was really big on reading! He would read a huge book every week! He always gave us books he wanted us to read! I have about a dozen he wanted me to read that I still haven’t gotten around to! Dad, I promise I will get to them!

Years ago he gave me this book called “Embraced by the Light.” It’s a story about a woman who passed away during a surgery gone wrong and she ended up coming back to life! She remembers her entire journey to heaven and her encounter with God! I wasn’t ready to read this book when my father gave it to me! He promised it was very short and I would read it in a few days! I still didn’t believe him and put it on my shelf for years! When my father passed away I came across the book and kind of as a favor for him I decided to read it! This book changed my life!

Hearing the story about a woman who passed away and descriptively explained what heaven was like, I feel I understood where my dad was! Her amazing journey gave me comfort and peace and if any of you have lost a loved one, I really recommend it! I can’t stress any more how special this book is to me! I’d love to hear what you guys think of it if you have already read it!
