Do you have any favorites this month?

I've been experimenting with 1940's old Hollywood style vintage waves recently and InStyle Magazine just listed my look as the hair look of the day! I'm glad you guys like the look!!

My Letterman Look
For some reason New York brings out the old Hollywood in me! I had hair stylist Renato Campora do my hair! He did Megan Fox's hair when she did Letterman last. I flew Mario out from LA with me to New York on his birthday so he could do my makeup for the show... and have some fun in the big apple for his birthday, of course. I wore Emanuel Ungaro one shoulder dress with Christian Louboutin heels and vintage earrings.

Get The Look: My NY Fashion Week Hair

Spoiled Pretty met up with Rolando Beauchamp, the man behind my New York Fashion Week hairstyles! Check out the video below to see what products Rolando used on my hair and how he created all my fabulous fashion week looks. One of my favorites was the Ava Gardner look! I put a side by side of Ava and myself in the gallery so you can see how the hair compared! What do you think of the 1940s style?
I usually wear my hair long or slick it back for a more sophisticated, sleek look, but I love that I can pin it back to give the illusion of a shorter bob without cutting it. I really love trying new things and Rolando really worked his magic!

My Secret Weapon!

I've been experimenting with a lot of different Hollywood hair looks recently. First I tried out a long glamorous blonde look with the help of Chuckie Amos for Scott Barnes' book About Face. Then Ken Paves helped me transform my hair into a short, light bob for a magazine photoshoot. Then for the MuchMusic Video Awards I ditched the wigs and Roberta Rogers and Ken Paves used my real hair and created an illusion of a short dark bob for a brunette Marilyn Monroe look! I loved it!
I love experimenting with hair looks! It keeps things interesting and new, and thanks to the amazing and talented hair stylists who create my looks, I know I'm always in good hands and my hair will always look red-carpet ready! haha.
Do you have a favorite look that I've done recently? I'd be interested to see which hair look you like the best! Let me know why in the comments!

Kim Style: Shiny happy hair
I especially adore their Big Shine spray, which you spray on after you blow dry or flat iron to give your hair that extra shine.
You can even spray it on after you get an updo too!
Reggie surprised me with flowers in my trailer while I was getting ready for Sunday night's Grammys!
You can see pictures here of me getting all decked out. My makeup artist/photographer extraordinaire Troy Jensen did my makeup and hair. I really love that he kept it light, glowy and sleek!
At the last minute, I opted out of a long, black gown and decided on a shorter, lighter dress by Australian designer Maticevski. I really appreciate the expert guidance by my stylists Monica Rose and Angela Fink. Great call, ladies!
Then off to the show! Check out Giuliana DePandi and I getting prepped behind-the-scenes!
Overall, I had a great time!
Can you pick out which jewelry and shoes I chose from these photos?

Kim Style: Pump up the volume
I finally found a thick and creamy styling cream that I love! It's called Animated Styling Cream by Ojon Hair.
It increases hair volume, adds separation and texture, boosts moisture and shine, and it's non-greasy.
I use it when my hair is down and I'm wearing a sleeker look.
It's also the perfect cream to use in a pony tail when you want it slicked back but not that oily-greasy look.
You guys should try it!

Kim Style: Curly sexy hair 24/7
Part of what I do is use 24/7 Curls: It's an instant-set curling spray that protects from the heat of curling irons and locks in shine. It has memory that creates long lasting curls.
Here's how you use it: You section your dry hair then you spray it on evenly over each section before you use the curling iron. It really helps in protecting your hair but makes the curls last all day!
I never just curl my hair without any product or it will fall so fast.

Kim to the Rescue: Curl girl
Hi Kim,
I was looking at your pics from the inauguration parties. Can you tell me which curling iron you use? Right now I have a 1.5 inch barrel that heats up to 450 degrees farneheit and I still can't get my hair to look so curly!!! ...And my hair is a little bit longer than yours, too. Any help?!
Thanks!!
XXXO,
Michelle

Kim to the Rescue: Wedding hair

Hi Kim,
I wanted to find out how the stylist who did your hair for your friend Allison's wedding... to see actually how they did the style. I am getting married in a few months and just started hair trials and my hairdresser has tried to re-create it, but it's difficult not knowing how it was done.
She had a good try and it was nice but still not quite right. I would love this look for my wedding. It's the best I've seen, but we don't know how it was done.
If you could find out the stylist so I can contact them that would be great!!
Really hoping you can make my day! (wedding!)
Thanks
Andrea

Kylie is the cutest copycat

Ever since I cut bangs, Kylie has been on my case hard core, wanting to cut bangs, too.
We went to see Adrienne and the Cheetah Girls perform in L.A.... And while we had some time to kill we had Adrienne's hair and makeup expert Ricardo cut her some bangs!
She looks adorable. Thank you, Ricardo!
(Check out the last photo in this set to see Kylie's final look.)
