UPDATE:
We just found out that this guy that fought Rob was 35 lbs heavier than Rob and was a trained fighter! He was overheard saying that he just wanted to be on TV!! Rob could have gotten seriously hurt! It was totally unfair to Rob, who was just trying to do something positive for charity and this guy comes in all he cares about is looking like a tough bully on TV. Well now you just look like an idiot and a liar! I can't believe the commission would allow a trained fighter to fight Rob!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We took a helicopter to the fight! Me, Kourt, Scott and Rob, and Bruce was sitting in the front...we even had a helicopter fly right beside us to film it all...how cool!? It felt like we were in some crazy movie!

The event itself was absolutely insane!! None of us are professional fighters... we literally had three days of training to prepare for the event and thought it would be a little bit of fun to raise money for one of our favorite charities, The Dream Foundation. We didn't expect what happened...

When Rob stepped in the ring to fight, his opponent was at least 25 lbs heavier than him, even though the organization had assured us that they were screening the people we were fighting against and that they would be within 5 lbs of our weights! At one point Rob's mask fell off and when he put his hands down he got hit in the face and ended up in hospital with a concussion. Rob's a strong guy and can definitely hold his own, but he wasn't expecting to get hit after his mask had fallen off! This guy just got really down and dirty!

We were all really angry and upset about what had happened to Rob, but I hadn't even fought yet and I didn't want to let the charity down, so I decided to get in the ring. My girl was a good sport, but she was tough! I knew I had to do it for charity, since that's what it was all about, but man, my girl could throw a punch! Look at my black eye!!!

At the end of the day, we did this for charity and that's what counts. Rob is doing fine now and my black eye will be gone soon... I hope. You can try to bring the Kardashians down... but we're a strong family. A concussion and a black eye can't hold us down!

The winning bidder gets to step into the boxing ring and fight against one of us in the 'Kardashian Charity Knock Out,' at the Commerce Casino, presented by Chet Koerner’s TKO Boxing Promotions and PR Entertainment, Inc. I warn you, bidders, I have been practicing my boxing moves! You may have seen me in Facebreaker! Hahaha!

Proceeds will benefit our family's favorite charity, The Dream Foundation, which makes dreams come true for terminally ill adults.

Go to www.charitybuzz.com for full details. The auction will close at 3:00pm EST, October 25.

christians_chapu-kim-kardashian-fund.jpgI received this email recently from a mother in Jacksonville, FL, whose son, four-year old Christian, is blind due to a condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. His mother has been raising funds in her home town to pay for vision correction surgery for Christian, but she needs your help! She has set up a website for little Christian, where you can learn about his condition, the procedure that can give him the gift of sight and donate money to the fund.

Christian's mother is a 22-year-old college student who is doing everything she can to raise the finds that can give her son the gift of sight! I admire her for doing everything she can to help her little boy. Let's help her reach her goal!

After my short stay in Atlanta I headed to New Orleans for an amazing charity event called Dress for Success. They do such amazing work! They give clothes to underprivileged women so that they can look presentable and be better prepared to get a job. They provide women all over the world with a network of support and help them find jobs. Since 1997 they have served over 450,000 women!

I met fashion shoe designers and twin brothers Shane and Shawn. They had some fab shoes!! We discussed Shoe Dazzle and their shoes. There was a fashion show and a party and the Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton even came out to support the event! It was a very special evening!

After two flights and 21 hours we finally landed in Johannesberg. South Africa. We then hopped on another 45 minute flight to Botswana. I twittered that I was in South Africa and Botswana, and the way I wrote it I guess made it sound like I didn't know my geography!

Once we got into Botswana we dropped our bags off at the hotel and then headed to a school for disabled children. We met some really amazing children and Reggie brought them all footballs and taught them how to play football. This facility is called the Motswedi Rehabilitation Centre and it helps rehabilitate children and care for children as they are getting ready to pass away.

The looks on these beautiful childrens' faces as Reggie was playing football with them was unexplainable. It was so touching. Reggie and Adidas donated a new rehab facility for the children to use!

Here are some pictures to better describe our day!

Reggie and I went to Miami to attend the Rush Philanthropic charity event thrown by Russell Simmons.

I was hosting the event which was about helping to save the arts.

I truly am inspired by Russell and feel like he has taught me so much about giving back.

I was always raised to give back... I remember when I got my first job my dad had me donate 10% of all of my earnings to the church. I still donate to the church to this day!

My mom and Bruce would always have us attend Special Olympics events.

It's never about the money, it's about time dedication.

There's always something you can do to give back and help out your community.

Last June I met Jenni, an amazing and beautiful 23-year-old woman who truly inspired me. Jenni was diagnosed with cancer at just nine weeks old, then again in her senior year of high school and again at 21. I spent the day with her and we got our hair and make up done, one of her wishes made a reality by the Dream Foundation, a charity you all know I am heavily involved with.

Well, I just received an email from Tom at the Dream Foundation, who just returned from a visit with Jenni and unfortunately he tells me she's gotten pretty ill. I wanted to let you all know what Tom said in his e-mail because it brought a tear to my eye. He said: "We visited for about 5 hours where we successfully got her out for a short drive to watch the sunset over the Pugent sound, looked through photos of her mission trip to Colombia, and mostly reminisced about her dream, as she one by one recounted every name and face that she met through the Dream Foundation. She spent extra time talking about how sweet you were to her, you touched her life."

Jenni, you are an angel on earth and an inspiration to me. Your strength is empowering and you have touched my life in more ways than you will ever know. You are in my thoughts at this time and I'll never forget the fun day we spent together. I am so honored to have met you!

UPDATE: Jamece's site has been fixed, so if you tried to make an order and it didn't work, try again! It's working now!
thumb-lia-sophia-circuit-cuffs.jpgI’m teaming up with with Jamece Vincent's Lia Sophia jewelry business to help out my favorite organization, the Dream Foundation!

All this month you can by one regular item and get two at 50% off, or buy 2 and get 4 for 50% off, etc.

75% of Jamece's profits will go directly to the Dream Foundation!

Here's how to get involved: Go to Jamece's Lia Sophia page, click on “OUR JEWELRY,” then whichever catalog you want to choose — including the Red Carpet lines — then click “HOW TO PURCHASE,” and enter “KIM KARDASHIAN” as the hostess!

Enjoy!

Khloe, Kourtney and I hosted a Style L.A. fashion show at the Viceroy hotel in Santa Monica last night!

This fashion show was extra special because it was for two different charities!... Stop the Violence and a facial paralysis charity.

When fashion mixes with charity there couldn't be anything better!

The other day I decided to go to the DreamFoundation office to meet some of the staff!

It's so easy to attach your name to something but i really wanted to see how the DreamFoundation operates. I learned so much from going there and it really did make such a difference in my experience to see what it really takes to make a dream happen!

I saw the process from start to finish! I heard different stories about amazing people who have had their dreams fulfilled. People dream for, family reunions, health care, trips to Disneyland, to go to a concert, meet a celebrity, anything, you name it! The purpose of the dream foundation is to grant a dream to a terminally ill adult. I saw that there are different stages in a dream, and anyone can help!

You can go HERE to adopt a dream and help out with dreams that are in progress. These dreams are granted to people who are given a life expectancy time. The people who are given eight weeks or less, are put on an emergency dream list. Those dreams are fast tracked.

Seeing the pictures of these people made it all so much more real for me! And if you look at these few examples, hopefully it will make it more real to you!

Seth retouched.jpgSeth is a 39-year-old who was diagnosed with ALS and has a life expectancy of 6 months or less. He was once an avid skier before this illness struck. His dream was to ski again before he dies. Dream Foundation aided to transport him to the Gunstock Adaptive Ski Resort in Laconia, NH. He was joined by eight friends and had a wonderful time.

Walgate Family1W.jpgLynn is 38 and in her final months of her battle with cancer. Her dream is to have one final family trip with her husband and two young children, as well as her best friend and future guardian of her children.

You can also donate your miles so that in reunion dreams the dream foundation can easily send family members to see their ill loved one. GO HERE to donate your miles!

eBay-screen2_REPLACE2.jpg

I have a fun announcement to make to all of you and you get to hear it here first too! Starting Thursday, May 29th, at 7 PM Pacific Time, I am launching my first ever eBay charity auction. I love the Dream Foundation, and as a way to give back, I am offering my fans the chance to bid on some of my outfits, shoes, handbags, and much more, all of which will have part of the proceeds going straight to them.

We have some things from Khloe and Adrienne too. We have the preview page up now at eBay, and I am calling this "Kim's Closet". You can get to the page now by clicking here ebay.com/kimscloset, and you can enter your email address to get a special notice when the auction is live.

Part of the fun of eBay is getting a good deal, so in the spirit of bidding, I am starting everything at 99 cents with no reserve!

I also just recorded a video talking some more about the auction and my personal connection to the Dream Foundation. Would love to see some of my fans also sell some of their items on eBay for the Dream Foundation too.

You can also click on the image below to make a separate donation to the Dream Foundation.

The season finale, which airs tonight, is very special to me. My family and I toured New Orleans to see the devastation and the reconstruction that has been going on since Hurricane Katrina. There is still a lot of work to do!!

Reggie is especially passionate about it now that he lives there. He even created a charity called the "619 Foundation" which helps out families in need.

Are you going to watch the finale? What are your thoughts about how Katrina affected the people of New Orleans?
