Hi Kimmy,

Congrats on all of your achievements. I think that you're a great person with a big heart. I've recently come across an interview you did back in 2007 and you mentioned that you married young and learned from your mistakes. I got married when I was 19 and I'm 23 now. I've been married for nearly four years. Though I've chosen to marry against my parents' will, I don't remember the last time I've been happy with him. I've learned we have so many differences and I am struggling to get out of this marriage. I don't know what to do. My parents have disowned me, I've got no love and support from my family, so I would really appreciate your input on this. You're my idol, and I wish I can one day have the courage and strength you had to move on with your life and put your mistakes behind you. Love you heaps... AND PLZ REPLY TO THIS. I'LL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL!

Kim,

So far my diet has been going great but, as you might [relate], there were a few days I fell off. (Imagine if I didn't. LOL!) Well, what can you suggest to prevent this? Please help!
Love ya Doll.

Sincerely,
Falling Off The Wagon

Dear Kim,

I have a question. I am the second-oldest of seven and my parents constantly work. So, I'm pretty much the head honcho. I realize lately that with the more rules I lay down, the more they seem to despise me. What should i do? Please help!

Sincerely
Head Honcho

Hey Kim!

School is starting, and I'm pretty bummed out about all the work i have to do, but I'm excited about seeing my friends. When you were in high school, what were you like? The nerd? The popular girl? What advice about high school and friends would you give me... And if you could go back and change one thing, what would it be?

Thanks!
Tara The Sophomore

Today I am posting two 'Kim to the Rescue' items because they are totally related. Read on to see what I mean...

Kim,

Your advice is amazing. I'm half Italian and half Middle Eastern. My parents will never understand. I have been dating the love of my life on-and-off for six years... He happens to be black. Any advice on how to break the news to them without them disowning me?

(By the way: Not every guy cheats. If I were a guy, and I had someone as incredible as you, I would never cheat. Reggie seems like an amazing man. Perfect couple.)

Sincerely,
MiddleEasternPrincess

Hey Kim,

I have some of the same issues. I have a dad that's Iranian, and he doesn't care about the race of people I date. But for some reason, my mom really wants me to date an Iranian guy because they don't believe in divorce. I think just because someone doesn't believe in divorce, that should be the only reason to marry them. I haven't ever really been attracted to an Iranian guy. And for some reason I just don't think I ever will be. I'm usually attracted to white guys just because that is who I have grown up around. My cousin is getting married soon, and his fiancee has a really attractive brother. He's white, and I really like him. Do you think I should go for it, or do you think I shouldn't? We aren't going to be first cousins or anything, so that really isn't an issue. I really need advice...

Shaydah

Hey Kim,

I'm 16 and just wondering if you have any advice for me?... I met this guy named Amir and he was really cute, tall and I liked everything about him. Things progressed and we stared to like each other. He told me he liked me, but the problem is he moved away.  We still talk over MySpace. I try to get over him but it's so hard because the rest of the guys at my school are mostly probably jerks—but he wasn't. What should I do?

Peace out,

Ashley Rodriguez

Dear Kim,

I am a single parent to a seven-year-old. I am 27 years old also. I need help finding a man who is as sweet and caring as Reggie Bush and is willing to step to the plate and accept the role as a dad. I have trouble because my daughter's father committed suicide when she was five-months-old. Ever since I have not been able to find someone who really cares about us. I am very careful not to bring them around my daughter. A lot of guys tell me that I am wife material but they are not ready to be in that type of relationship. Can I have some pointers on how to catch a real man?

From,
Antoinette

Dear Kim,

You always seem to have confidence in yourself. I, however, lack confidence. Everyone says that I'm a pretty girl, but I feel that I'm not. Whenever I'm with my friends, they always get more attention from guys... and they aren't "all-that" great looking. I've got personality, and they don't. I always find myself comparing their body types to mine, because they are size zeroes, and that makes me think that guys always go for the thin ones. How can I stop comparing and start to feel comfortable in my own skin and feel more confident?

Sincerely,

Not Confident

Dear Kim,

There is this boy and I like him... I was told that he was going to ask me out; but the thing is he has dated two of my best friends, he is rude and treats me different when were around people (but when we are alone he is really sweet)... I always forgive him and whenever I look into his eyes I get lost and I forget everything... Some things he says are deep and others are too childish. Please Kim—HELP!! What do I do?

Sincerely,

Lovechild In Trouble

Kim,

I met this guy who seems really sweet. The thing is I'm only 21 years old and he is 30! Do you think age difference is a major issue in relationships?

Deciding,
Anna

Dear Kim,

My ex moved [away] and is not responding to my emails even though he told me to email. I don't know whether that means he hates me. I really don't want him to hate me. Does that make me clingy? This seems like a dumb thing to be worrying about but it is really a main focus in my life right now. I feel really hurt... Please give me some advice. Tell me what you think about my situation.

Thanks Kim,

Confused

UPDATE:  My dad's mom, my Nana, passed away Thursday and her funeral is tomorrow. I hear you, Christy, and I know all too well how you feel.

Dear Kim,  (The following was first published on Thursday, May, 22)

I love you and your family so much! I saw your show today (LOL). Y'all are going to make Khloe go crazy! But it was funny and you're right: She does need someone to share her life with... no matter what she says! LOL!

Well, I know you are so sweet and full of advice so... I had a sister pass away a little over a year ago. She lived a tough life and she eventually ended up committing suicide. It was so tough for my family and I just can't learn to deal with it even after a long year!! I know you had to deal with the loss of your father so I was wondering if you had any tips to help me with this??

Thanks and love you so much :)

Christy
