Check out this new video for 'Do You Love Me?' by the Ballas Hough Band! I make a little cameo appearance at the 1:05 and 1:27 min marks! Mom even makes an appearance too! The video is so much fun! Mark Ballas and Derek Hough perform every Tuesday at The Grove. I went recently and it was so much fun. All my old friends from Dancing with the Stars showed up. If you live in LA you should definitely go check them out sometime.

Ballas Hough Band at The Grove
Ballas Hough Band performed at The Grove recently. The band is Mark Ballas, my old Dancing With The Stars partner, and Derek Hough. Mark called me and told me about it, so after my jukari workout, I headed over to The Grove. After they performed all of their songs, they started singing "All About The Benjamins,' which is so not their typical rock and roll music. Then Lil Kim came out and rapped with them! It was soooo sick!
Everyone from Dancing With The Stars was there: Karina, Max, Tony, Shawn Johnson, Julianne and Chuck, Lance Bass... the whole crew
came out to support the guys! It was awesome!

Mesmerized by Lil Kim on 'Dancing'

This week I went to watch Dancing With the Stars and it was so much fun to catch up with all of my old friends! I met a whole bunch of new people too!
The dances were amazing, Lil Kim was mesmerizing to watch and after the show I had to grab her booty! She is so curvy.
Melissa and Tony were so beautiful together but so much fun to watch and Cheryl and Gilles -- I really couldn't tell the difference between who was the professional. They are so hot together!
I absolutely love Holly. It was sad to see Woz and Holly go last night but that's the rules of the show and now it's being elevated to the next level.
I am so glad I had the chance to catch up with my friends! Ahhh, I miss dancing!

I'm sure you all know Brooke Burke and Derek Hough won DWTS season 7!
It was so well deserved. Mark and I were thrilled!
Mark and Derek are like brothers: Derek and Julianne moved in with Mark and his family when they were kids in London. I could tell Mark was more nervous than anyone during last night's final eliminations.
Warren and Kym put up a good fight and were extremely close.
The tension in the red room was high last night so to lighten the mood everyone brought their camera to get our last memories of season 7!
This was probably one of the coolest experiences I will encounter. I have made friends for life and I am honored to have been on DWTS!

I went to watch the DWTS results show this week. I hadn't been back since I was voted off!
It felt weird not to be part of the action—truly it did! I really miss everyone... I have kept in touch with Cheryl, Lacey, Karina, Mark, Derek and a little bit with Lance, but it was so good to also see Warren, Susan and Brooke!
Lionel Richie performed on the show that night, too! It was absolutely wonderful to see him—our family has known him since I was born!
I was sad to see Susan get voted off and boy, I know how she feels!
Who do you think will win this season's Dancing With The Stars? Drop me a comment and let me know!
The other night Cheryl Burke and I went to Kristi Yamaguchi's skating event down at USC.
Mark and Derek also performed with their band Almost Amy, so Cheryl and I went to support!
Shannon Elizabeth was in town and we all had the best time watching the group perform!
After the show Cheryl and I were starving so we hit up Mr. Chow's for some gourmet chinese food!
Mark and I hopped on a plane last week and as tired as we were, had to be up at 4 a.m. for Good Morning America (post on that appearance coming soon!).
When we got on the plane both of our seats were broken! One seat was slanted all the way down and the other seat wouldn't even lay back or go down, so Mark and I took turns half the flight in one seat then switched.
On The View we had to do our rumba one more time... this time we had fun and laughed our way through it! The girls from The View are always so sweet and fun!

Kim Pix: Robin did her best
Mark and I met up with Robin Antin, creator and choreographer of the Pussycat Dolls! We were filming Dancing With The Stars, having her help me bring out my inner Pussycat Doll!
I felt I needed all the help I could get (Right? Ha!). And for our package—which is the video tape you see before we started to dance on Monday night's episode—we had Robin help me become more confident, sexy and show me how to work it!!!
To be honest, as Mark and I kept preparing to perform our rumba, I was feeling pretty good about it!
After my wardrobe fitting that day, I was also psyched because my dress was to die for!!!
I had really been anticipating you guys seeing if I could totally let go and kick up the intensity and chemistry with Mark!
Thanks for trying, Robin! I appreciate all your help!

Kim in the News: The final dance

What can I say... I am obviously sad to go, but I am more sad to not be seeing this amazing cast that really has grown so close together.
I know I wasn't the best dancer and I never claimed to be. I have never taken a dance class in my life until now! But WOW what an incredible experience!
I will never ever forget this journey. I have made friends I know will be in my life forever now! I wouldn't have given up the experience for the world!
After the show Mark and I were rushed to do Jimmy Kimmel and then it was the wrap party for Keeping Up with the Kardashians at Crown Bar. So many of the DWTS crew came by to support!

Last night we danced the Rumba! Wow this show is a huge challenge for me! I really thought I did a good job! But the judges thought differently!
I was really trying to break down what I am doing wrong. The fact that I have never performed before in front of anyone—let alone 25 million people—is a huge accomplishment to me when the dance is done because I am so out of my element here, and it feels like such a rush when we are dancing!
This show is teaching me a lot! When talking to Reggie about it, he made a good point, that I have never played a sport where I would win or lose a game, I have never competed against anyone before where I would be judged, and just learning all of this is teaching me more about ME!
Although I am learning choreography and spending hours in the dance studio, I think I am learning so much more about myself than I ever imagined. So at the end of the day, this is such a life changing experience.
To be honest last week, I cried so hard when I got home, just knowing this is SO hard for me and I really am trying—but my inner shyness is making it look like I am just not trying. I think I took it way to seriously and I was a nervous wreck on Wednesday.
This week I am just having more fun with it and haven't really let the judges comments hurt me. I feel that in life when challenges come your way, sometimes God tests you, and wants you to learn, because that is what life is about! I hope the plan he has for me is to stay in a little bit longer, because I don't think I have learned everything there is to learn from Dancing With The Stars yet!
I haven't quiet come out of my shell and I so badly want to! Each dance gets easier for me but I'm not ready to give up on this inner challenge that I'm faced with by a simple dance! I know it seems silly that dancing is this big of an inner struggle but it is and I so badly want to overcome it and have fun with it all at the same time! This show is a blessing and I hope you all are just enjoying this journey with me!
It was great to have my dad's side of the family there to watch and support! My cousins Kourtni and Kara Kardashian came with my cousins Chey and Julie. I definitely felt the love!
My friend Caroline D'Amore also came to support!

Kim Pix: YOU are making it happen!
Hi guys,
I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU all so much for your love and support. I made it through the first week of Dancing With The Stars and I KNOW I have you to thank.
I have been working SO SO hard but learned this week that working hard is not enough.
This week I will take what the judges told me and work even harder and I’m doing it for YOU!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for voting for me, for your inspiring messages and for believing in me—it means more than you know!!
Check out some of my behind-the-scene pics of all us even the Jonas Brothers and Jesse McCartney who all perfomed on our results show! (Did you know Jesse wrote Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love"? I told him it's my favorite song!)
XOXO,
Kim
Look closely at these photos... You will notice that some of the pics show my hair straight and down (like the one of just me and Mark), and my dress is a longer length. That was from dress rehearsal.
In rehearsal, my hair flipped into my face so much while I was dancing, the Dancing With The Stars team decided they wanted me to change it so you could see my face more.
They also thought my dress looked too overwhelming and said it wasn't showing my legs enough! We rushed to fix my hair and minutes before the live show they were cutting off ruffles from my dress!
Did you watch last night? What did you think of my song selection? (LOL!)
I have to be honest—last night was so hard! Standing there for two hours in complete suspense really drained me!
I watched our performance over again last night on Tivo and I think the judges were right! I really need to loosen up and not think so much about the steps as they are happening. I just have to have more fun with it!
This show is so much more difficult than I expected! I hope I get another opportunity to dance again. I am not ready to go home. I have so much more to learn!
I am doing this show to break my own shyness shell, and little by little it really is working. It's all about progress!
I really am going to take what the judges say to heart and learn from their advice...if I make it to next week!

Kim Pix: Having fun on 'Dancing' so far!
Hey guys,
I wanted to check in and let you all know that I had so much fun last night on the first DWTS episode!!!
I just loved watching everyone dance! I came in sixth place according to the judges with a score of 19.
Mark and I danced to the “Pink Panther” theme song, so we thought black-and-pink costumes were very fitting.
Tonight we are going to do the mambo!
I hope you watch, and I also hope that you vote for me!!! Polls open at 8pm tonight! You can vote online or call 1 800 VOTE 410 (1 800 868-3410).
XOXO,
Kim

Kim in the News: It's the big day!!!
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to check in and let you know how I’m feeling this weekend and how things have been going since my last blog.
Mark and I still rehearse every day, for at least 5 hours a day, so I’ve been feeling better and better about my abilities. We’ve put so much into this! So, I’m totally excited for everyone to watch on Monday and Tuesday!
But, Friday we did our first camera blocking, so we rehearsed on the stage for the first time in front of all the cameras, all the producers, some of the other dancers and crew. And for the first time, I feel like we didn’t know what we were doing!
I don’t know if it was because we were on stage for the first time, in front of so many people, or what, but I just felt scared. Mark keeps assuring me it’s normal to mess up the first time on stage rehearsal and feel nervous, but I was really surprised! We know the routines by heart! So we’ll continue to work and work and work
This weekend, my best friend got married, so I rehearsed with Mark Saturday morning until right after lunch and then I went to get ready for the wedding—I am looking forward to a night off from filming, too! We’ve been filming for third season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians as well, so that has been tough!
Sunday Mark and I will rehearse all day, really working out any final kinks in our routine—I want it to be automatic when I get on the stage, I want to know it so well, so by heart, that I can let go and have fun when I’m out there. I hope my nervousness today on stage was just for today!
Of course, I’m a little nervous—I’ve never done anything like this before! I’ve tried to keep everyone updated every day with my progress and support team on my website right here on www.KimKardashian.com! (I will also update on MySpace as well. )
UPDATE!! Monday morning is here!! OMG!! Today is the day! I am getting ready to leave—I have to be on set by 7:50am! I am so excited and getting some butterflies in my stomach—so I will have a good breakfast and get to the stage and look forward to seeing Mark! I hope you all watch and love what we’ve worked so hard for! If you like what you see, please vote for us!!!
XOXO,
Kim
Hey guys,
I think I should address all of these comments about this car accident I drove by recently—because once again the details are very off...
I find it very odd that a man involved in a car accident would write a blog right away, instead of focusing on what's going on with the accident.
I was driving in Reggie's black Escalade down Beverly Blvd. A Dancing With The Stars production assistant was in the car in front of me and my dance partner Mark was in the car behind me. We all had a wardrobe fitting and were going into the CBS stage lot, where our fittings are. There was an accident and an ambulance in the only drive way for the lot, however just one lane of the driveway was blocked. There were two still open to drive right into the lot. My phone rang and the production assistant from DWTS was calling to say to follow him right into the lot. We just had to drive around the wreck—the other lanes into the lot were open.
While I was driving slow and looking at the accident I rolled my window down to see what was going on and a man tapped my car twice with his hand saying don't slow down, it's just an accident. Mark yelled from behind, in his car, that we are employees and going into the lot. The man said "ok," and then said "that was Kim Kardashian," as I was driving off...
So, how this story got twisted into me being a "spoiled brat," yelling "don't touch my car," or whatever was said, is just bizarre! There were many cars in front and behind me going into the same parking lot. It's the main entrance into this CBS lot, so it's very busy in general. Why he would single me out, I'm not to sure. I did look at the accident and saw the paramedics talking to the passengers in the accident, and know how scary accidents are. So I just hope everyone involved is okay and no one was seriously injured.
Setting the record straight,
Kim

Mark and I have started our rounds of Dancing With The Stars press...
We did KTLA early Thursday morning. Mark's alarm didn't go off, but he woke up anyway! (Thankfully!) It was pretty early!
We did a few dance moves during the show and demonstrated a little mambo for the hosts!
They were trying to figure out what dances we were dancing to, but we wouldn't budge! We want everyone to be surprised when we dance!

Kim Pix: Wishful thinking
Mark let me hold his trophy he won when he danced with Kristi Yamaguchi last season! I was pretending it was ours! Ha ha! The trophy reflects because it is so shiny with disco ball mirrors. It made my whole face sparkle!
Have you ever won a trophy? Even a ribbon? Let me know!
