I absolutely loved the makeup look Mario gave me for my LA birthday dinner! To die for! We've been experimenting with eyeliner recently and this was one of the looks Mario came up with... it worked perfectly with the nude lips! To find out what products Mario used to create the nude lips look, head over to his blog! I'll make sure he does a full 'Get the Face' for my birthday look, because it's one of my favorite recent looks!

Remember the dark look Troy Jensen created for my YRB shoot? It was a look I had never tried before... short hair, dark lips, pale skin. It sounds kind of gothic, but it was more classic, like the femme fatales in film noir. Troy just blogged about the products he used to achieve this look and the women that inspired it. Troy drew inspiration from the Stars of the Silent Era including Gloria Swanson, Theda Bara, Clara Bow and Louise Brooks. Amazing! I love how he can take classic looks and reinvent them to make them modern and unique. He truly is a genius. Can you see the similarities between my look and their looks? It's interesting to compare.

Check out Troy's blog post to read how he created this look.

My wonderful makeup artist Mario chatted with the ladies at Spoiled Pretty and gave a really detailed breakdown of the products he used to create my Emmy's look and the steps he used to achieve it.

I really loved this look! I don't wear blue eyeshadow very often but it added something unique to the look and made it bright and fresh. A smokey look would have been too heavy for the dress, so this was so perfect! Mario always knows the exact makeup look to do to compliment an outfit.

I was always afraid of shimmer, thinking it would make me look oily, but I tried it out and I think it looks dewy and glowy. What do you guys think? Although I wouldn't put too much on, a little goldish shimmer can be very pretty!

Mario did a post on his blog about the products he used to create my look... everything from skin, to eyes and cheeks, so make sure you check it out! Thanks for always making me look and feel my best, Mario!

Both! haha. I am so loving this hot pink lips look Troy Jensen created for me recently!  It's so fun, a little bit 80s and I love the combination of the dark eyes and bright lips! I wore this look to the Orphan premiere recently. It's so fun and girly!

Troy tells you how to recreate this look on his blog!

Since vampires are all the rage right now, Troy Jensen and I thought it would be cool to try out a more gothic, almost sinister look! This look was inspired by Prada's fall 2009 runway show and it is so unlike anything I've ever done! And no, I didn't actually get rid of my eyebrows, haha. Troy used an eyebrow concealing wax to hide them! Pretty creepy, right? I call this my Twilight look! What do you think?

Troy has posted all the products he used to create this look on his blog, so check it out.

mario-dedivanovic-kim-kardashian.jpgMy wonderful makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic recently answered a bunch of fan questions on his blog about makeup looks, application tips, products and how he achieves certain looks. If there's anyone I trust with my face, it's Mario, and I really think you guys can learn a lot from him. He's given me my own personal makeup lessons before, and I'm working on putting a video together, like the ones I did with Mario in February, so that you guys can get some more makeup tips and see how he creates my looks.

So in the meantime make sure you check out Mario's blog.

Troy Jensen and I attended the Christian Dior Beauty Lunch at Hotel Shangri-LA in Santa Monica on Wednesday. Troy created a gorgeous old Hollywood glam look for me, but kept it modern at the same time! So chic! I love working with Troy!! He is so inspiration and multi-talented. He shot my 2010 calendar shoot and he always creates such gorgeous looks and keeps it fun and different.

The Dior event, benefiting the children's charity Operation Smile, was hosted by Christian Dior VP Dianne Vavra, and so many celebs turned up with their makeup artists... Angie Harmon, Lil Kim, Emma Roberts and Leanne Rimes!

Troy has listed all the products he used to achieve my old Hollywood glam look on his blog so you should check it out. Want to do a guest blog on my site, Troy??

Don't forget, the Bravo A-List Awards are on tonight at 10pm on Bravo!

Kourtney, Khloe and I had so much fun doing the opening and closing segments of the awards! Kathy Griffin is so funny, I love her! We also got to introduce Raphael Saddiq. If you missed my pics of us hanging out with some of The Real Housewives backstage, make sure you take a look. Also, if you like my makeup look for the awards, I've given you a detailed rundown of the products Mario used to create the look in my "Get the Look" blog series.

10pm, Bravo, be there!

I've decided to start a new blog series called Get The Look! I get so many comments from you guys asking how I achieve a certain look and what products I use, so I thought you might like to see how I get ready for different events! Let me know in the comments if you have any favorite looks of mine, and I'll do my best to recreate the look for you guys.

For the Bravo A-List awards my hair was super easy and simple. Frankie Payne parted it down the middle then slicked it back in a low pony tail. Mario Dedivonovic painted my face in a modern day 60's inspired look. For the eyes, he put down a white shadow on the lid called Chill by MAC, and Corduroy and Carbon shadows, also by MAC, in the crease. Then he used a black liquid liner by MAC to define my eyes and and used Giella eyeshadow called B Dazzle, in the corner of my eye to make them pop!

For my cheeks we used a blush called Orgasm by Nars and for lips we used a MAC color called Brew, with Subculture lip liner and Baby Sparks Dazzleglass lip gloss on top, also by MAC!

Aren't Mario and Frankie amazing!? They always know exactly the right look to do to fit the event. You should go to Mario's site for extra tips!

mario-Dedivanovic-kim-kardashian-complex.JPGHey guys!

Mario has given some great makeup tips in writing and on video!

Thanks so much for doing this Mario! You are truly amazing!

Here is the monster final installment of his makeup and face care Q&A...

Jackie: Mario, I love how you do makeup, I want to know where I can get the sponge like thing you used to put on her foundation. I would realy like to get one. I use foundation everyday, I use a foundation brush. So please let me know where I can get one. Thanks.

Mario: Hey Jackie, I LOVE that sponge too.  It’s called The Beauty Blender.   You can get it at Beautyblender.net .  Don’t forget to get the cleanser for the sponge too.  It works amazing so you can wash it over and over again.

Hawaii: Hi Mario! Great job. Here is my question: Should primer be used after a moisturizer or does it matter?

Mario: Aloha Hawaii, yes. You can moisturize first, let it set in for a few minutes, then prime.

Rx: Hi Mario! The look you done on Kim was gorgeous! -Id like to know how you got into the makeup industry and was it hard for you to get there? Thank you!

Mario: Thank you, Rx. I got into the makeup industry when I was 17 years old.  I started in retail then eventually began to work with photographers and I assisted famous makeup artists for years.  I can’t say that it’s easy because it’s not.  A lot of hard work, sweat and tears go into it (especially In NYC), but if you love it and believe in yourself, you succeed.

Christine80: Thanks for the tutorials. I just love them. My question is: Does Mario work with non-celebrities? I am getting married and if he could make me half as pretty as you, Kim...well, let's just say I would be ever so grateful.

(Get Mario's answer and much more after the jump!)
