Loving My Fans!

I received this email from a fan I met at Primal and I thought it was so sweet! She was one of the girls in the pics I posted from the event.

Kim came to Primal Atlanta on August 14 and I was so excited! I love everything about her, her style, how she does her make up, the way she carries herself, how close she and her family are...etc. So I took my fiancee and we went to see her! I was so excited! Kim came in, and at the most, I just expected her to smile and wave, and I was hoping to get some close shots of her. She walked in, took the pictures that the club photographers wanted to take of her, and within 15 min, walked towards her fans! I was elated when she reached out and looked as many of us as she could in the eye (including me!) and reached out with her hand to say hi to as many as possible. We asked her if we could take picture and she said YES! We met her at the end of the stage and she literally took us up on stage and spent the majority of time taking pictures with us! My fiancee was absolutely shocked. He could not believe that she took the time to personalize time with each fan. She listened to EVERYBODY! After we left, my fiancee talked about how he was surprised at how naturally beautiful she is, with minimal make-up! There was also a time when I was taking a picture of her and she was texting on her phone. She looked up, saw me taking a pic, and gave me a big smile for my camera!

Kim thank you so so much. You truly are beautiful inside and out! You made my day, it's as good as the day I got engaged! Haha! Thank you so so so much and I truly wish you the best in everything! You deserve it! Hope I can see you again soon! - Anusha

Anusha posted some pics on her Facebook profile, so I thought I'd share them with you. Thank you Anusha! I always love meeting my fans!!

A Night in Atlanta

I went to Atlanta to host a night club party called Primal. I love Atlanta, although I didn't get to spend enough time there. It was so much fun! I ran into Kim, one of the housewives of Atlanta! I met lots of cool fans! Some of them are in these pics. Stephen came with me to glam me up!

We are so far along in my perfume process! You guys can see the shape of the bottle I am holding up... it's round with a cool rectangular top. I think it's classic and just plain beautiful. These are just mock ups made of plastic, but the actual bottle color is very unique, it's not this cream plastic color. I know we showed a lot on Keeping Up with the Kardashians but so much more work has gone into it since then and I need YOUR help with picking out the accent color for my bottle. It's the color for the bottle top. It has to be the perfect color, so I am leaving it up to you! Do you guys like the lighter pink, soft but not bubble gum, or the brighter pink? Vote in the poll and leave me a comment in this post to let me know what you think!!

Thanks guys!

The family spent Saturday night at the Hilton Hotel in Atlantic City. We had a really cool time getting up close and personal with the crowd, showing clips of our show and answering questions for everyone. I met some amazing fans and had a good time being with my family!

I received this success story from a fan who bought my fitness DVDs, Fit In Your Jeans by Friday. I love hearing from you guys about how the workout DVDs have helped you with your fitness regime!

I have done the workouts 3 times a week now for 2 weeks and I've lost 3 lbs and went down from a size 16 in pants to a size 14 and I am wearing a size 12 dress! All in 2 weeks Kim thank you so much for making this series of DVD along with healthy eating I am looking great. My goal is a size 8 so I got a ways to go but i know i can do it thanks to the series. I must admit the step one is a bit hard but i am sticking to it.

- Vicky Durandisse, Washington DC

Thanks Vicky! I'm so glad the workouts have been working for you! Stick with it!! I am confident you can reach your goal if you set your mind to it!

Do any others of you have success stories you want to share? Leave them in the comments, I'd love to hear them!

Hey guys,

I wanted to address the issue of me responding to all of your comments. I'm sorry I have been a bit absent from responding and interacting with all of your comments and questions. I know it seems as though I am Twittering a lot more than I am responding to comments, and I want you all to know that I read all of your comments. I recognize my loyal fans here on my blog, and I truly love reading your comments... I am just SO busy at the moment, and since I have to be at a computer to respond to you guys, I don't get around to commenting as much as I would like.

I want to explain how I do my blogs so maybe you can understand a bit more the time I put into it! Throughout my days I take lots of pics and try to come up with fun blog items! At the end of my day I upload all the pics, format them then write the blogs. I preset them to go up the next morning! So every night no matter what time I get home I spend about an hour and a half on my website. Also, if any urgent news happens I will post something up right away.

So in addition to my traveling and working, I try my hardest to stay connected to you! I wish there was some sort of application that would allow me to respond to you guys from my phone just like Twitter, but there's not, it doesn't work that simply. So I promise to stay connected and interact as much as I can! Thanks so much for understanding and always supporting me!

I love you guys!

- Kim xo

We sometimes forget how lucky we are to live in a democracy and I think we often take our freedoms for granted. Unfortunately, not all countries run like ours, and not all people have the freedom to say what they think, wear what they want, choose their religion. I don't tend to get into politics that much and I'm a total workaholic, so I'm always busy, but I try to keep up on the news (Twitter helps!) and I even received an e-mail from an Iranian-American fan who wanted to spread awareness of what's going on in Iran. As an Armenian-American, I definitely feel this is something that should be addressed.

If you've seen any of the shocking videos online of the police violence against the protesters (I've seen pics but I can't bring myself to watch the videos) you've seen how the Iranian people are protesting for what they believe in, fighting for their freedoms and being brutally punished and attacked for it by police. This kind of violence against innocent civilians is sickening. President Obama said he was appalled by what was going on and honestly, how can you not be?! Shima, my fan who e-mailed me, said that the Iranian government is bringing in officers from outside of Iran to silence the protesters because Iran's own guards are refusing to hurt their own people. I admire these Iranian guards for standing up for themselves, and I admire the Iranian people for fighting for their freedoms.

Some people think we shouldn't meddle with other country's politics, but I don't think it's about enforcing our own beliefs on them, it's about helping people fight for what they want for their own country. In our country protests and demonstrations happen everyday, peacefully. We are ssooo lucky to have the right to speak up for ourselves and for what we believe in. I just hope the people or Iran will some day soon have the right to do the same.

I had such a great time at Kitson on Saturday at my launch event for my DVD series Fit in Your Jeans by Friday. Mom, Kendall and Kylie came alone for support and soo many people turned up, the line was down the street! Some people had been there since 10am so they could get to the front of the line, even though the signing didn't start until 2pm! I want to thank everyone who came out for the event. It was so great meeting everyone and I'm thrilled with how you guys have been receiving the DVD. Remember, my Fit in Your Jeans by Friday challenge just launched this week, so get working out to my DVDs and you could win a pair of designer jeans picked out by me.

There are over 40 pics in the gallery, so make sure you look through. I'll be posting more pics from the event later this week!

A fan named “Hawaii” recently wrote in asking what shade of lipstick I wore when I was in Miami at the Fontainbleau opening.

Well, I love red lips, and I should wear them more often! It's so bold! I love how Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani wear red lips all the time. This color is by MAC and it's called Russian Red, with Russian Red lip gloss on top.
