My Q&A with Kim Kardashian Web

June 21, 2010 / 42 Comments

I recently did a Q&A with my fab fans at Thanks so much dolls for all your love and support! My fans mean the world to me!! 2009 was certainly the year of the Kardashians and 2010 is proving to be no different. What would you say makes you, Kourtney and Khloe so relatable to your fans?
2010 will no different! Well we hope. The bottom line is, we are having a great time doing what we are doing and I think people can see that. We have a brand for the fans. I really look at what our fans are asking us for, advice, tips, fashion, beauty…and we try to give them! What were your childhood dreams?
As a child I always wanted to be a teacher! You’ve pursued a variety of projects and expanded your brand incredibly, are there any opportunities you haven’t yet come across but couldn’t pass up?
I love fashion and would love to do my own line of clothes! As previously stated, you’ve expanded your name into a great brand and become quite the young business woman. Your Mom is your manager and your Father was incredibly successful. Do you think you inherited their mindsets when it comes to business?
Absolutely! I learned everything from both of my parents. My Dad was extremely hard working and my Mom makes it all happen! I’m so proud to have them as great examples.

Old School Pic: Bonnets and Frills with Nana

May 16, 2010 / 29 Comments

This is me with my grandma (my dad’s mom) Helen who we always called “Nana.”  Nana was full Armenian and honestly so much fun… your typical Armenian grandmother, always cooking us up amazing Armenian meals. She got us all addicted to beeshee, which is kind of like a sugary Armenian pancake, and we all cooked them for mom this year on Mother’s Day. Kourtney is a pro at making beeshee!

Old School Pic: My Nana

This old school pic is of me and my grandmother. We always called her “Nana.” She is my Dad’s mother and her real name is Helen Kardashian.

She passed away earlier this year…

Once my father passed away, she was never the same. She had three children, my aunt Barbara, my uncle Tommy then the baby of the bunch… my dad!

My grandmother is full Armenian. It’s actually very typical to have blond hair and light eyes being full Armenian. This is where Khloe gets her coloring from, in case you have been wondering.

Nana was seriously so much fun! She lived right near my parents growing up and also had a house in Palm Springs that we always spent so much time at.

She was your typical Armenian grandmother: always cooking the best Armenian meals, our favorite which was this Armenian breakfast called “beeshe”! I’m not sure if that’s even how you spell it but it’s basically a fried pancake with lots of sugar on top!

She passed along the recipe but Kourtney is the only one in our entire Kardashian family who has mastered it. So every year in December my dad’s side of the family gets together and Kourtney makes it for us all!

I miss my Nana so much!

Cici is my style guru

October 1, 2008 / 90 Comments

My cousin Cici (far left) styled the jewels on my mom here. Jeweler Lynn Tran (far right).

Have you noticed my Mom’s fabulous jewelry she has been wearing on Dancing With the Stars while fulfilling her duties as correspondent for ET and The Insider? She reminds me of a modern day Liz Taylor!

My cousin Cici is a fashion and jewelry stylist and is responsible for selecting my Mom’s incredible jewelry! Cici has an incredible sense of style! She is like an encyclopedia on fashion and design! We can talk fashion for hours!

Cici’s mentor, my Grandma Helen Kardashian, was a fixture on Rodeo Drive and on best dressed lists in Beverly Hills for years!

Cici’s life-long love and passion for fashion is amazing! I always love to see what she is wearing! She loves coming to my house and looking in my closet!

The jewels are gorgeous and Cici’s swears by Jewels by JT. I love their pieces too!

Check out pictures of my mom wearing the jewelry and there is an extra picture of me wearing a set of beautiful JT earrings. Talk about bling!
