Kim Kardashian - Dream Foundation Adopt a Dream for Desteny

As you guys might know I have always been a supporter of the amazing work that the Dream Foundation do. I am so inspired by the work they do, granting wishes to adults with life-limiting illnesses and improving their quality of life. I came across one woman’s dream on the Dream Foundation website that really touched me, and I wanted to share it with you guys.

Desteny is 31 years old and has suffered from heart disease for much of her life. Her dream is to see the ocean for the first time and take her twin sister, who has supported her through everything, to Miami with her. What a truly inspiring and touching story about Desteny. Kim, I think it’s amazing that you are such a strong and faithful long time supporter of the Dream Foundation. I definitely want to help Desteny dream come true. Me and my family are very involved in many charities here in Miami, it’s just a blessing to help others.

It’s great that you raise awareness for charities like this, but I do always wonder why you don’t also donate money to the majority of people yourself! With the money you make on a daily basis, you could save hundreds of lives or at least make them better. Not to say that you dont donate money, ive seen evidence that you do, but there are so many thousands more people you could help with no real impact on your finances. Look how many people post on twitter and Facebook asking for help sending their loved ones abroad for urgent treatment. It is often an extortionate amount of money but i’m sure nothing more than a dip in the ocean for you! i watched an old ep of KUWTK yesterday in which you said you would donate double the bid money if you didn’t have to go through with the charity boxing match. Just made me think, if you’re willing to do that, why don’t you just give them all that money anyway? It’s not like you don’t have enough louboutins! If I had your kind of money I wouldn’t be able to hear about stories like desteny’s without whipping out my purse about 10x a day!
