Kim Kardashian - Syrian Armenian Relief Fund

Hi dolls. I just wanted to share something that’s very important to me, and it’s something than many of you may not be aware of. Syria is now home to over 100,000 Armenians, most of whom fled during the Armenian Genocide. But in recent years, fighting between the Syrian army and rebels started and thousands of Armenians in Syria have been affected. Armenian churches have been destroyed, homes have been burned down or looted and thousands of Armenians are unemployed and in need. Thousands of Armenians have evacuated their homes, dozens of innocent civilians have been killed and tens of thousands are struggling just to eat or find shelter.

The Syrian Armenian Relief Fund was set up to raise money to distribute food and water and provide medicine, medical care, housing and even classes for children whose schools have been closed.

My Armenian heritage is incredibly important to me and I think it’s important to raise awareness of this.

If your heritage is so important to you, why haven’t you ever visited Armenia? You travel all over the world, but you haven’t been to your father’s/grandparent’s country. It’s one thing to make some PR with this or to really care.

    DON’T CALL THEM REBELS!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, they are called protestors or revolutionaries, coz they are demanding freedom and the right to live a life with no Conquer and Injustice, a life that they could all be equal.
You dont know what type of life they lived, how it’s almost hard to find bread or shelter
Just as Egypt and Tunisia, fighting for freedom peacfully with the power of theit voice and their will…not with guns

    Please change this word Kim
you have many Arabian fans, and many of them in those countries, hearing sth like that from you may for sure make them not respect your opinion

They are worse than rebels! They are not protestors or revolutionaries. They are not fighting for freedom. They are not even peaceful, you need to open your eyes. Peaceful movements don’t include destroying Christian churches, kidnapping Armenians and others who are not even an enemy to them. Most Arabs assisted Armenians after the genocide, but times have changed and now extremist Islam is becoming like a cancer. Don’t spread misinformation.

I am so tired of haters like you above,I am so proud that at least someone is shedding light on the situation. If one million fans hear and only half cares and donates 1$ that will be a huge step forward.I am Armenian and I have visited my motherland and any
form of PR that Kim can post with the reach that she has is still a voice.
thanks Kim so proud and thanks for sharing and representing.

Definitly not a hater, always a huge fan , the only objection is the word ”Rebel”!
      Respect this gesture though

They are REBELS , when you fight for freedom you dont HURT the INNOCENT like SAVAGES.
Fight for freedom , I am all for fighting for your beliefs , but dont hurt, burn and torture innocents because of who they are and what they believe in.

It’s very harsh to judge them all as Rebels , when at least most of them started this revolution peacfully but sadly the Regime didnt listen and started the violence

maybe a few could have some destructive intentions, but that doesnt mean all of them..the majorty are still innocents

everyone is inspired by different people for different reason so don’t judge. Sorry that you don’t understand that everyone is different and thinks differently than you.
