A Message…
I want to clear something up for you all, because it seems that something I said has been taken way out of context, as is often the case with quotes pulled from interviews. In a recent magazine interview, I told of how I had called a female fan who was battling cancer, and she told me how she had watched the show and seen how I had faced my own struggles, and had been inspired by how I had found the courage to change a situation that was making me unhappy. She told me how her life had completely changed when she was diagnosed, and a lot of friends had deserted her, which is something I said I could relate to. In no way was I comparing my own experiences to that of a cancer patient. I was merely talking about how there are times in your life, and everyone goes through them, when you find out who loves you enough to stand by you through thick and thin.
Many of you know that my father passed away from cancer, and my grandma is a cancer survivor. This is a disease that has brought so much pain and heartache to our family and I would never want to offend or upset anyone who was battling cancer, or whose family members were battling or had passed away from cancer.
What I said in the interview was misconstrued and I wanted to explain to you all what the context was around my phone call with this girl. Xo

Kim, you are such a sweet and caring person to even call a fan dealing with cancer and then after that good deed now you have to explain what you discuss. When I first this story I thought it was ridiculous because I knew you would not compare you marriage situation to someone dealing with cancer. The media always try to turn good into something bad. Keep doing great things and God will continue to bless you with success and good health. I stand behind 100%. Love you much Doll!!!! xoxo
do not let evil people remove their compassion with their fan, so you and God know the pain you felt after losing his father to a disease so malignant as cancer. kim me and his millions of fan we are by your side in good times and bad, I just love her and be with you for the rest of my life

oh Kim after reading your story i know exactly where your coming from … Ive just finished rescuing my mother from my evil sisters and it was not pritty at all the neglect she was subjected to was extremely inexcusable and i lost my father to cancer also .. He was such a fighter and went through so so many opperations to get rid of it .. He also has inspired me to keep going coz i never got the chances in life i should of coz i was allways pick on by my sisters (evil ) .. and to see my father struggle and keep going made me keep going and now my mum is getting so much better these days which means i will never give up and i feel for all who struggle with illnesses and neglect of any nature I also have to deal with my disabillities that were set upon me by my sisters friends and there is no cure for me but seeing both parents be strong makes me a winnner coz i do, do my upmost best to do rehab and find ways of making everyday work fo me .. love you and what you stand for Kim .. Kim i read the whole interview & knew exactly what you mean from the earlier quote about people you thought were your friends turning on you & what comparison you were trying to make. In no way did i think you were trying to equate divorce with cancer. That interviewer was biased, pretty, & had a pre determined opinion of you before you even opened your mouth. You should stay away from these snobby BS publications even if they are “high fashion”, “high end” if all they want to do is bash you under the guise of writing what they sell as a analysis piece on your fame or whatever. I hope the media picks this up but knowing they dont care about stuff unless its negative it probably wont spread the way the out of context cancer quotes. Keep your head up. Real fans will always support you
