Midweek Makeup: Clean and Simple
Because I’m always at photo shoot or shooting for our show, I’m in full makeup a lot of the time, and while I LOVE getting glammed up, it’s also nice to be natural sometimes. I love the way a fresh, clean face looks… natural and beautiful. These are my ‘clean makeup’ inspirations!
To get a fresh-faced look use a moisturizing foundation that blends in well with the color of your skin. Look for creamy blushes in warm pink and peachy tones. For your eyes, try a clean sweep of a bright and light shimmery shadow and add a slight edge with a thin black line of pencil or liquid. You can keep the lips natural with a tinted lip balm, or add a splash of color to your clean look with an orange or red lipstick!

I think both looks look stunning on you. :) But to be honest, when you are a young adult in college, in graduate school, or have a full time job in an office, you just can’t wear a dramatic look there or anywhere else — it just never happens, and there really isn’t any point in it because most people never get to go to galas or many functions after work or school, so doing a dramatic look is not a normal thing for your average person.
I’m heading to med school soon, God willing :) and know I’ll be busy on weekends and during the weekday – I don’t know when I would ever even think of wearing a dramatic look! It’s just not something normal for most people. It would be so fun to go to big events, premiers, etc. and to have the opportunity! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us your looks, though, and how the looks are done with the right products!!

Natural! I find that it preserves the actual skin the best. I like women with a natural glow and if they get dolled up- choose one feature to stand out. Nothing worse than visible concealer.
Love the natural look. I go for it everyday I can never seem to do my eyeliner to perfection I should probably do some YouTube tutorial watching lol. You should do a new YouTube tutorial on your everyday makeup, I think we’d all love that. Especially your cheekbones I try to do them everyday but I just can’t get ahold of it.
The dramatic look is nice, but the natural look is very attractive.
