So on this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians I said that I thought Indian food was disgusting. In NO way was this intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste. There are a lot of foods I don’t like… I hate cilantro and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn’t reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture. My comment wasn’t intended to offend anybody. We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine.

Definitely wrong choice of words. Don’t care for, don’t like, dislike etc., but DISGUSTING, takes it to a new level…what were you thinking?…of course people from India would be offended…oh well there goes your Indian fans lol

That is crazy! I think this world has gotten way to touchy feely/sensitive. Kim you are really nice to apologize but at the same time..you shouldn’t have too. I think certain foods are disgusting too…and there are different cultures that have different foods that I find gross. That’s the way of it. Now it would have been different if you said Indian PEOPLE were disgusting… but you didn’t.

    Just My Opinion…

I don’t think this was even an issue until you posted this. Nobody was discussing this – but now they probably will. Sometimes remaining silent is a good idea.

actually many ppl were talking about it after the show
and it was tweeted to #kuwk and hence she felt the need to clarify.

Um, I’m Indian and I couldn’t care less….there are some foods I find disgusting too! Don’t apologize for having food preferences, having an opinion shouldn’t be such a big deal :)

I think it’s sad that the public is so ultra-sensitive to the petty things – but too distracted to notice the really important things. It’s sad that celebrities have to constantly be so careful of what they say for fear of offending someone. Personally, I think that shrimp, sardines, horseradish and anchovies are disgusting. Like Kim says – it’s how we feel about food. Kim should be allowed to openly talk about her likes and dislikes without being made to feel bad for her words. Seriously – women and children were murdered over in Syria and yet people are going to pick on Kim for saying that she finds certain foods disgusting. Sad. Very sad.

Smells like armpits? Wow you’re obviously as moronic and brainless as this 31 year old plastic hag. You shouldn’t compare another culture’s food to something like armpits you imbecile.
