I’m embarrassed & ashamed to say Obama is our president.To think a president of the USA would support same sex marriages is unbelievable.One man,One woman is God’s plan.Obama & Biden can say what they want,but they are in violation of God’s laws.
We love the sinner,but hate the sin.Same sex marriages are SIN no matter what anybody says…& anyone continuing in that lifestyle without repenting of their sins will go to hell,not heaven.

I have always been a fan of yours. But to say that you support same sex marriage when you supposedly go to church and your ebay charity foundation is a church as well really confuses me. I do see how someone can call themselves a Christian and then be okay with something that God clearly speaks against. A marriage is between a man and a woman, period. So either stand for being a Christian and Christian morals or do not claim to be one. What is even more sad, is that our President claims to be a Christian himself and publicly supports this as well, can you say campaign ploy? Sorry hun, but I wish I saw better from you.

As someone pointed out you should worry about you and not what other people are doing. If you’re religious fine follow those guidlines the bible wants you to follow but not everyone is religious and everyone should have the same rights. If you want to be controlled by your religion thats fine not all of us follow your beliefs. Seriously people need to leave religion out of politics.

I completely agree! As a Christian we are not suppose to be of the world and that includes agreeing with gay marriage. That lifestyle is against God and no one is born that way! This was a sad day in America and Obama will have to answer to God for his actions.

I dont think it matters. I too am a christian myself but I can careless about if someone is in a same sex marriage or relationship or not because its not going against what “I” practice. What they do have nothing to do with me because, neither does it affect me. Thats how people should think about it. @paris a same sex marriage is not going to effect you. You keep practing your religion and worry about you not others. They are not affecting anything going on in your life.

Actually Paris, if you study the bible there are actually MANY points in the bible where homosexuality is completely accepted, and actually encouraged by God. I can say this because am currently studying Theology at a Christian college and can provide sources/ bible verses if you so wish.
I do respect your opinion though, I am a devout Christian myself. The church shouldn’t be asking the question “Who do you love?” but rather “DO you love?”

ALL politicians lie to get into office. Obama care was actually made from Mitt Romneys ideas on health care a few years back now he’s saying he’s against it. Politicians say anything to get the vote. I like Obama but he kind of puss!ed out on everything he said he was going to do. When hillb!lly Bush was in office he didnt give a f*ck about what anyone thought and did what he wanted. Granted the were all horrible ideas like lying about “weapons of mass destruction” to get into a war and tax cuts for the super wealthy. My point is I wish Obama would do the same and do what he said he was going to do and not care what cry baby republicans say. Also Biden was the one who came out first and said he was for gay marriage. The presidents pr vehemently denied the president also shared that opinion. Im glad he finally came out and said that. Change is coming. :)

Obama supported Gay Marriage 4 years ago when he ran for the Presidential Office and then ignored Gays until now. Go ahead, support him again and he will punish you a second time. What is that saying, oh yah “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.” Problem is, if he fools your twice and denounces you after he is in office for a second term, there is nothing you can do to him. Take Obama as the CEO of a business. He can lie to everyone except a company’s shareholders and the IRS. Take the movie “Hunt for Red October”. The senator in in the movie said, “when I am not kissing babies, I am stealing their lollipops.” Obama will say anything if he thinks it will get him into office. Now, if he would pass legislation of approving Gay Marriages at the federal level, then I will support him. But until then, I remain an independent and when the time comes to vote, I will pick the lesser of two evils to the Office of the President of the United States.

I think the bible is more of like a book of morals but also its to control you. Alot of religous people in our country are really filled with hate and don’t want to help the poor or want equality. Some people think the bible is literal and some think it’s to give you lessons on life. I cant believe there was a talking snake or burning bush or that Jonah lived in a whale. I mean its kind of common sense would you believe if someone today told you that? Theres new religions all the time. What happened to say the greek gods? People believed in them for a long time. Theres new religions all the time. Mormonism is fairly new. I find it hard to believe. Which is why I say. Equality <3

I think if there is a god I would think he/she would want everyone to be happy and everyone to be treated equal.Im not against anyone who is religious and I dont want to offend anyones beliefs. If there is some holy being that created everything I doubt he;d be so short sided and judgmental. I doubt im being a sinner by saying I give my blessing to 2 people in love whether theyre gay straight or lesbian. In my opinion everyone should have equal rights. Doesnt affect me one bit.

The Bible has been written and revised according to historians, so how can you say what God wants or not? And by the way, so many people had sexual relations outside their marriage, so I don’t see where you got that idea? It sounds like American social norms to me because it couldn’ve come from The Bible or history.
