Silly. Some fans state their love for the show and others deride them “passionately” for this. To each his own but why does watching reality shows make someone stupid, that means anyone watching violent shows act violent. Its actually stupid to put pple in a box like that which i think is the reason pple make fun of reality show fans (gives a false sense of moral and mental superiority).
I watch the kardashians cos its entertainment. I love the fact there are different characters doing funny things. i enjoy the drama and stupidness of it all. I really dont care if its scripted. As far as im concerned its a tv show. Thats all it is. (Life is much more important than all this, pple need to be more accepting of other pple whether their hobby is jumping rope or dancing, thinking dancing is better is all in ur own mind).
And no i’m not a teenager. I am Nigerian, 31yrs old, financial accountant with the United Nations Development Programme. I enjoy classical music and enjoy reading. Im not into fashion and neither do i hang out with stupid people all day.
@kemi-I used to watch the show too, but unfortunately lost respect for Kim somewhere along the way. I still watch Khloe and Lamar and even Kim’s show once in a while or follow her for her fashion. I can like one thing about a person and dislike another. Just like I used to love things about an ex boyfriend and then changed my mind and disliked things as I got to know him. People have a hard time accepting that some people won’t like Kim’s behavior. It’s kind of hard too (for me) when so many people in Hollywood bash her and find her behavior tasteless.
@reginaebrasil, the antidote for that is not getting attached to characters and stories. One of the reasons i enjoy watching the show is cos i love studying people – and there are different types of relationships in that family. As long as its interesting, i watch. Once i start getting bored, i flip the channel.
