I was shocked and saddened yesterday when I heard Whitney Houston had passed away. She was such an amazing talent and it is such a tragic loss to her family, her fans and the music industry.

Whitney’s family asked that the Clive Davis‘ annual Pre-Grammy Gala go ahead, and I joined those who were gathering to celebrate Whitney’s life, share stories and remember who she was. Tony Bennett, Diana Krall and Alicia Keys performed songs in her honor. It was a bitter-sweet night. A sad one, but also one of celebration. We will always love you, Whitney.

I’m looking forward to seeing Jennifer Hudson‘s tribute at tonight’s show.

  2. Happy Sunday Everyone. It is truly a sad day for millions of music lovers today after learning of the passing of the Legendary Whitney Houston. I loved and adored her music and her God given voice. She will be truly missed by millions including me. I remember dancing and singing around the house to Whitney’s many hit songs, I truly loved her. This teaches us all a very vauable lesson that we must cherish each and everyday God gives us because it can all be over in a minute. Whitney’s daughter, mother, friends and fans around the world are in my prayers today. We all need to take the time to love, laugh and be thankful for all we have in our lives. RIP Whitney Houston!!!!!!! xoxoxoxo

P.S. I am also looking forward to Jennifer Hudson’s tribute to her tonight at the Grammys.

  3. Kim, you looked beyond stunning last at Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala. Love you so much!!!!!! xoxo

  4. Speaks volumes for the shallow narcissists of Hollywood. The woman is still warm upstairs, but this is an opportunity to party and parade in front of the press, so let’s justify it to ourselves by saying ‘It’s what she would have wanted’. And for those saying this event must go on as it’s associated witht he Grammys, why MUST it go on? I’ll accept that the award ceremony itself should go ahead, but this was just a party. It’s not as if these people won’t get the chamce to attend another one. As for the talentless Kardashian with her boobs falling out – proof if ever it was needed that this vile woman has absolutely no class. This is disrespectful in so many ways !!!

    • delicioussss get over yourself.

    • it was just another photo op for her, she loves the limelight, she did the same thing when crazy lindz got out of jail, showed up to her place bc the paps were there.

    • Ughh yes this vapid moron went partying at the same hotel Whitney was found in just a few hours later. Anythinggg for a photo op. Farzeen I really doubt she was celebrating her life. Stop defending her when you dont even know her. I highly doubt it’s her when she writes to her “dolls”. Get a clue loser. She’s way to self absorbed to care about anyone but herself and of course money.
