Taking a Stand Against Online Bullying
When I set up my Fairy Tale Wedding Giveaway, I did it because I wanted to make one happy couple’s special day even more special… I wanted to give someone a day to remember for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, some people have decided to ruin this contest for the finalists, and have been bullying and threatening the finalists on Facebook. I was getting ready to announce the winner today, but before I do that I want to address everyone who has been leaving mean, hurtful comments to the finalists and basically harassing them. I will NOT tolerate bullying of any form on my blog or on my Facebook. Anyone who threatens another fan, or thinks that it is ok to bully someone else will be blocked and banned immediately.
It really disheartens me that certain people tried to ruin this special moment for the couples involved. Online bullying is one of the biggest challenges facing children and young adults in America and I personally am taking a stand against it. I want to thank all ten couples for entering, and thank everyone who voted for them and left supportive comments and genuine well wishes.
I’ll be posting the winner tomorrow right here in my blog… and I expect nothing but nice comments on that post!

Haters troll this blog all the time trying to bring your loyal fans down. It’s sad that they stoop that low. It doesn’t say much about them as people besides the fact that they have no souls. Even though there are bullies around your fans are going to still be here and stay strong. Because we are here for you! The haters don’t know anything about your fans even though they think they do. They have no clue. You have been there for me when i really had no one and i will always be grateful to you. I feel so blessed to have met you and to have you in my life. You are a big sister to us. I wish all the finalists the best of luck!

it’s a shame that there are people who take advantage of this to affect or threaten others! but I like the idea that people who want to spoil the contest are blocked .. no harassment! and kim is a living example here in your blog that unwanted people harass some dolls daily

Kimberly, I saw that too. I was wondering if you ever check back on your FB page(s), apparently you do.
There are some mean/nasty ppl out there, I saw a TON of ppl against the couple who were already married – he happen to be in the one in the military that being said, it’s YOUR choice, but my advice to you is – check in on your FB page more often!
There are a ton of ppl who don’t like you for this or that….So what….

Thank you, Kim! People just have no lives & want to make everyone miserable. It’s easy to talk like that while sitting behind a computer, they would not say that in real life. I’m glad you’re taking a stand against people like that
And so am I. ;-) As I’ve said previously, the worst thing about these online bullies is that they claim that coming onto sites like this and displaying such rampant contempt for Kim or anyone else is their God-given right, when in truth, it should be treated as a privilege.

kim k, thanks for posting this it really speaks to those going through the emotional and physical pain of bullies each day. If you could take just a few minutes out of your busy schedule would you please make a visit to youtube and watch the bullying psa my school class DESKTOP PUBLISHING made last year, I am the girl bully in this video and would reallly appreciate it if you could watch if you would search- Sweetwater Juinor High Stands up to Bullying you should be able to find it. I personally am against bullying as well and this is why I helped to make this video happen!

I am so glad that you have taken a stand and will not tolerate bullying. It is ridiculous what this society has come to and it breaks my heart. I feel so sad everytime I hear about another senseless death because of bullying.
I had a suggestion: I think that the 9 finalists that don’t win the grand prize should get a little something just for having to deal with the harrassment. I’ll admit, I haven’t read the giveaway rules so I don’t know if those that don’t win will get anything or not. But I was thinking maybe a gift card to Sears to get some of your kollection or a bottle of champagne with a personal note from you or something.
And if you take my suggestion, please don’t forget about me. I would like a copy of your book or something. Please. My birthday is coming (I’ll be 37) and I am kinda depressed about it. It would be great to get a gift package of some of the stuff that you sell in your Las Vegas store.
