Hi Kim, I want to tell you that you are a magnifique person..I have also psoriasis for 11 years.now I have 21.I know how difficult is to fight with this problem.I admire your courage to publish this issue. I wish very much to meet you someday but I know that’s impossible because you’re thousands of miles away. I live in Romania. I wish you good health.
Hi Kim,
I am 24 years old and I have had plaque psoriasis for almost 4 years now. At my worst times, it covers my body from head to toe. I usually get breakouts on my legs like yours or on my elbows, hands, feet and stomach. Some times I even breakout on my face.
What I hate the most about it is how it keeps me from doing the things I love. I am an aspiring model and it’s hard to find photographers who are willing to work with me since my pictures usually need to be re-touched to cover the psoriasis.
It doesn’t help that there isn’t much of a cure or anything you can really do about it. I am currently taking Humira and even though it’s not doing as good as a job as I had hoped, it does keep the worst of it away for the most part.
Anywho, it sucks that you had to join the psoriasis community and I wish the best of luck to you!!! If you ever happen to find anything else that works well for you it would be awesome of you to share =D I’ve never tried the Sally Hansen stuff but I am definitely going to check it out!

I feel your pain Kim! The picture reminds me of how my legs looked a few years ago. I, too, thought I had psoriasis and used steroid cream after steroid cream. Eventually I had a dermatologist look at it he said it was actually “numular excema.” He prescribed a medication called “OLUX” and I am telling you it was the miracle cure!! I highly suggest you look into it!! I still use it when I have flare-ups and I swear by it!!
I also use the AM Lactin lotion mentioned in an earlier post and that stuff is great in addition to keep the scaliness down.
Hope that helps!
Hi Kim! I’m your fan from Europe – Baltic States.
I found out about your problem from my husband. He said, Aiva, help your friend:))
The thing is, i’m working with amazing natural product, which extraction place is Latvia.
We are talking about – highly organic mud. It really works for psoriasis. You can check about it in http://www.omi-bdk.com; http://www.eliercometics.com. I would love to send you mud mask as a present, that you can try it! Kim, that can really help you! Regards, Aiva

Hi kim, I have psoriasis and I could not control it, could you tell me which medicine you used, thank you very much for your time, hope you can help me.
Hi Kim, I was diagnosed with psoriasis when I was 12, I’m now 33. It comes in waves but normally settles on the side of my ankles and my elbows. The stress from this and anxiety then triggered eczema so I’m on a roll now! I discovered Sally Hansen airbrush legs a few years ago and its the only product that covers it and seems to settle my skin down too. What a Godsend! I do consider myself fortunate that I haven’t had it spread across my body, but it certainly gave my self esteem a king hit so I’m slightly reserved around new people because I’m worried they will judge me, and then they think I’m up myself and that sucks. I only hope that one day I can gain the confidence to wear a skirt without being self conscious as I have only ever worn long pants/jeans since I was 15 except for a few occasions. Anyway, although we wouldn’t wish it on anyone, it’s comforting to know your not alone :) – Krissy (from New Zealand).
Dandy is right, miracle cures are just people trying to rip you off. I used a strong shampoo for years, but they discontinued it about 7 years ago. I started using PsoriaTrax shampoo, especially in the winter, and it does a great job at controlling my psoriasis. For the most part, you wouldnt even know that i have it. Great stuff.
Ok i had to write a comment on this page i was searching the internet as i do allot for help with my psoriasis. i have had it seance i was about 11 im 38 now i have it very bad all over my body but just not on my face . It is very depressing because you just don’t want to have to exsplane what it is or tell people its not contagious and all of that. I never knew that Kim Kardashian had psoriasis i think it is so great that she is as open as she is about it. Just reading the articles and all the comments about her and that she has this condition that i have hid and suffered with most of my life really has inspired me to just live instead of hiding my skin and hiding from what other people say. This may sound silly but knowing that she has pictures taken every day of her and she is open about it gives me courage to go and not be so ashamed of my skin …Thank you Kim :)
