It does cover well I’m sorry you have to suffer with Psoriasis I know how it feels to deal with a skin condition I have suffered with acne since my teens it’s not a easy to deal with a skin conditions with a mind of it’s own
Kim I love that stuff it covers up almost anything. Im glad you found something to cover it up without having a makeup artist do it. You’re not the only one suffering from stuff like this and you are still absolutely perfect and beautiful!
Still beautiful, whatever! :) but im happy its covered, your little leggies dont deserve psoriasis xxx
Hi kim! I’m so glad you found something that covers up your skin problem well! I’m really happy for you that you do not feel too self conscious because of it. I have a skin condition called Vitiligo.. white patches develop all over the body gradually.. at the moment my feet look like they have white ankle socks when in fact I’m wearing none. It’s been 15years since I’ve worn a skirt or shorts as I feel sooo self conscious when I’m wearing them cause I’m scared people stare. After watching your episode I’ve made up the courage and I’m wearing shorts and skirts in public now.. obviously using a product to cover it up.. but at least I don’t have to suffer in the summer heat now! thanks kim xxx
I can really appreciate you being so candid about suffering from Psoriasis. I have suffered from Psoriasis since my early teens and know how difficult it can be. It always flares up during stressful times – new job, pregnancy…even my wedding day! My Psoriasis was a precurser to some other auto immune issues like Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia…something to keep in mind. The best medicine is less stress and makeup (mine is usually on my face).
Hey Kim,
My daughter was diagnosed recently with psoriasis. Like you, it started on her stomach and then spread to her legs and even spread to her scalp. We had no idea what it was at first. As a teen, it’s a lot for her to deal with, so I can imagine how hard it is to have when you’re in the public eye. Anyway, so far she’s doing ok with it and all has cleared up.
I’ve done TONS of research on it and have found that Gluten is often a contributing factor to flare-ups. You may want to get yourself tested to see whether or not you have a Wheat allergy. Until I can get her tested, we have been trying to eat as much “gluten-free” foods as possible and it seems to be helping.
Hope this helps a bit!
OH! And how can I forget. Amlactin Lotion helped A LOT! It’s a lotion with a high concentration of Lactid Acid in it which will lessen the inflammation AND exfoliate to remove the scales! Definite “must-try”.
You can get it at any drugstore or Target/Walmart.
.Ok that’s it!….LOL
hey Kim i have been suffering with psorasis for 6 years now i found that the only product that worked for me is Skin cap you can google this product. It is from spain and it is amazing. The spray works the best! Ever since i found this product i have seen amazing results!
hi Kim, my sister and dad had psoriasis, my sister all over her scalp, in her head, she uses vitamin D capsules that she break them in the scars, my father uses a more radical medicine he buys here in Mexico, is a Russian spray, specially for skin psoriasis that is sell here in Mexico, you can buy it online is of CHEMINOVA LABS, http://www.skin-cap.net, see Kim “http://www.skin-cap.net/es/spray.shtml”, but if you can not access the page buy it options, you can send some one to buy it for you in the frontier of Mexico, either Tijuana or Mexicali in the mexican pharmacy’s chain called “Botica Guadalupana” or ” Farmacias Benavides”, that all i can say Kim, i hope you get better dear, you so perfect and precious
Don’t believe all the miracle cures that you will read about. They don’t work, if they did they would be offered at your dermatologists office. If you want advice, google the National Psoriasis Foundation
