Kim Kardashian Cosmopolitan Armenian Cover Turkey Genocide April Rememberance Month

I just found out today that I am on the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine in Turkey this month. Cosmopolitan Magazine has a number of international editions all around the world that run in various territories, and when I did this shoot for the international covers I had no idea that Turkey was planning to run my story on their cover THIS month, considering Genocide Remembrance Day is this month. My Armenian heritage means a lot to me and I’ve been brought up to be incredibly proud of my family’s background and culture so as an Armenian-American woman it is a huge honor for me to be on the first ever Armenian Cosmopolitan cover (pic above.)

I have an amazing relationship with Cosmopolitan Magazine. World-over, Cosmo is known as a fun and inspiring magazine for women of all races, shapes, sizes, regardless of their political beliefs and I really hope that if I can bring awareness to the issue, then this in an accomplishment.

  1. ok i couldnt let this slide ……. Kim i love u lots but one thing i dont understand ….
this is Armenian writing , ur own nation and native language and u are mistaking it with Turkish ??
    thats just a shame

    • she’s not saying the above cover is in turkey…they were talking about how she was the first armenian to be on cosmopolitan in armenia…it is in reference to the first paragraph on the front page of this article.

  2. People need tostop hating!! Just because she may be half Armenian doesn’t mean she isn’t, as a matter of fact I’m half and half and proud of both my family’s cultures. It’s ignorant at best. So Kim, you look great, and have plenty of reason to be proud, especially of your heritage. You have a nice family and a wonderful life. Keep up the good work! Fabulous!!!!

  3. SO SO SO>>>>FAB<<<<!

  4. hey Kimmy, you looks so gorgeous :)
why don’t you mention that your grandmother was turkish armenian and your dad’s grandfather was a turk? :-) lol

  5. my beautiful doll
I love this picture! You look so happy:)
YOU are the Perfect combination of sexy, cute, fierce and fun!

  6. it’s a bad career move to speak out on poltical issues.

    • Its a good moral move to speak out on issues that you believe in. I hope that Kim continues to give moral precedence to her decisions. What happened to the Armenian people is awful and hopefully this will bring more exposure to an awful atrocity that is rarely discussed.

  7. I know, from when you were a kid, and now you are a super model, you always have a mystical beautiful look, and dark Kardashian eyes. You are a Goddess from Heaven Kim, wow!

  8. Kim, you have opened my eyes to a lot of things I didn’t know about or didn’t have much passion for when I first became a fan of yours. I have become a more passionate person when it comes to talking about topics that you and others feel strongly about. I learn from people everyday and I thank God for you and everyone else who has brought topics like this to the attention of your fans including myself. I love you!!

  9. KIM I THINK YOUR BEING A BIT IMMATURE ABOUT THIS WHOLE COSMO COVER THING, YOU HAVE TURKISH FANS TOO JUST REMEMBER THAT!

  10. this whole thing shouldn’t come as surprise to anyone. she JUST posted a commercial about her being advertised in japan right with the tragedy happening. she doesn’t honestly care about anything but her own fame. the only reason why she is apologizing right now is because she is under scrutiny. no one slammed her about the japan thing and so she pays no mind to it. and yeah, sure, i think kim looks really pretty but that’s all she is — a wall flower. she’s to prissy to be silly and too greedy to do the world any good. sigh… kim kardashian outlandishly undermining the crisis on earth one self promotion at a time.
