Kim Kardashian News Magazines Press Clippings

Hi dolls! Happy Saturday! It’s been a busy week!

Kardashian Konfidential climbed up one spot in the New York Times Best Sellers List, I launched my signature line of watches, and my cover and spread in Latin American Cosmo was released (I really loved this shoot!)

I have a feeling next week is going to be just as busy! It’s Mason’s first birthday on Tuesday, and Khloe and I are heading to South Africa very soon for a special trip.

Here are some of my favorite press clippings from this week. One magazine said the cloak fashion trend this fall was “kooky,” but Kourt and I love our cloaks and capes! Are you guys loving or hating this trend.

What do you guys have planned for the weekend?

Support the Armenian Genocide Resolution and Make a Difference!

December 10, 2010 / 126 Comments

Hi dolls! I wanted to bring something to your attention that I think is a really important issue.

As some of you may be aware, although many of you may not be, Turkey still denies that the Armenian Genocide took place, and the U.S. government has remained silent about it due to pressure from the Turkish government.

The Armenian Genocide was a series of terrible massacres committed by Turkey between 1915 and 1923 that killed members of my extended family and over two million other Armenians and Christians in the Ottoman Empire.

It’s time for America to speak openly and honestly about this horrible crime against humanity, and the only way this will happen is if WE speak up first.

To get your voice heard, call Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, at (202) 225-0100 and ask her to pass the Armenian Genocide Resolution, H.Res.252.  This human rights legislation will help make sure that the lessons of this genocide are used to help prevent future crimes against humanity. For more information about calling the Speaker’s office, and ideas on exactly what to say click here.

We CAN make a difference.

Launching My Watch Line at Whisper Lounge

Kim Kardashian Watch Line Collection Whisper Lounge Grove

This week I launched my signature watch line with the Brissmor Company at The Whisper Lounge at the Grove in Los Angeles. I wore this gorgeous Rachel Roy dress with Christian Louboutin shoes.

You can view my complete collection of watches here. Which ones do you guys like the most? We named each style after one of my favorite cities. So there’s The Manhattan, The Miami, The London, The Beverly Hills and more.

I think each style is very classic and timeless. I definitely wanted to create a line that was glamorous and stylish, yet that was also wearable and classic so that every woman could find something they would wear.

Our Second Book Signing in Los Angeles

December 10, 2010 / 20 Comments

Our second book signing for Kardashian Konfidential was at Borders in Los Angeles. So many people turned out to support us. It’s always great to get the chance to meet so many people and hear what you think about the book. You guys are always so friendly and supportive and Khloe, Kourtney and I appreciate you more than you know.

This week we found out that Kardashian Konfidential had moved up a spot from #4 to #3 on the New York Times Best Sellers List, which is just amazing. Thank you to every one who went out and bought the book. If you haven’t got it yet, you can get your copy here.

Check out the pics from our New York City book signing, and see if your photo made it to my fan gallery.
