The commercial I shot for a California tourism campaign is here!! We tried to shoot down stereotypes people have about California in a funny way and I think it turned out great.

I THINK ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTIONS PEOPLE HAVE ABOUT CALI, IS THAT IT’S THE “GHETTOEST” PLACES ON EARTH!!!! BECAUSE THE ONLY BEAUTY THEY CAN SHOW IS HOLLYWOOD!!! THEY NEVER SPEAK ABOUT OTHER BEAUTIFUL PLACES LIKE HOW MUCH LONG BEACH HAS CAME UP! WE HAVE THE AQUARIUM, AND MANY BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANTS DOWN TOWN LONG BEACH AT THE PIKE! MAY BE YOU SHOULD CHEK IT OUT SOME DAY KIM! IT’S VERY PRETTY!! I LOVE LIVING IN THE LBC! AND A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE CAME OUT OF HERE, SNOOP DOG, CAMERON DIAZ, JUST TO NAME A FEW! BUT BESIDES ALL THIS, YOU LOOK VERY PRETTY! I’VE BEEN SEING A LOT OF PICTURES OF YOU IN THESE BIKINI!! AND HOW THE MEDIA ARE TEMPTING MEN WITH IT! LOL!!!! EVERY BODY WOULD LOVE TO DATE YOU DOLL!

Oh ya, what do I think is the biggest misconception about us Californians? I think that some people think that we’re to “laid back”. It’s all good, I like being laid back in the Southern C A. So maybe it’s not such a big misconception after all, what up?

i moved to cali twice in my life and i am honestly the only person i know who likes the state. all my friends and family say the people are phony, plastic and fake. i don’t know if that’s a misconception though. it rings pretty true esp people in the entertainment industry. their values and morale seem to be of naught. but still i LOVE L.A.! AHH I MISS IT!
The only thing I’ve heard about California girls is
1. The Beach Boys wish they ALL could be cali girls
2.that they are unforgetable
3.Daisydukes. (bikinis on top)
