Happy Father’s Day!
My sisters and I are so lucky to have had two very strong, loving and truly inspirational father figures in our lives. Many of you know my father passed away from cancer in 2003 and not a day goes by that I don’t think of him. But each day I am grateful for the lessons he taught me. I remember when I got my very first job and he had me donate 10% of all of my earnings to the church. This is something I continue to do to this day, and is part of the reason I like to be involved with the Dream Foundation as much as possible. I know there is so much more I could have learned from him, but Bruce has continued to provide me with so many life lessons and I admire him so much for taking on three daughters, and treating us as if we were his own. Thank you Bruce, for always being there for us. I know we are quite a handful at times!! Dad, I’ll be thinking of you on Sunday. I know you are looking down on us all, and on little Mase. I see you every time I look into his eyes. To all the fathers out there, Happy Father’s Day. Khloe posted a gallery of her favorite pics of us with dad so make sure you go look.

I don’t think people realize how strong the bond between a daughter and father can be because you constantly hear ” A boy needs his father”. Everything that I love and hate about men, I learned from my father. After all, he is the first man that you learn to love. John Mayer said it best, “Father’s be good to your daughters”. Just like you can tell how a man will treat you based on how he treats his mother, the same holds true, You can measure a Woman’s self worth by her relationship with her father, especially if no other man stepped up to the plate. No child, be it boy or girl, should ever feel the rejection of their mother or father. So to the father’s that put in the work and excepted this awesome responsibility, I say “Happy Father’s Day”.
