My Favorite Looks from the MET Gala

May 3, 2010 / 64 Comments

I couldn’t sleep last night so I came online to check out the red carpet pics from the Met Gala and WOW, I was speechless. So many beautiful dresses! It is such a dream of mine to go. Here are my favorites from the night:

Jennifer Lopez: Beautiful and romantic, and what amazing detail!

Kate Hudson: So elegant and sexy! She’s flashing just enough skin and looks totally confident!

Blake Lively: I love short dresses on her. She has such an amazing body and the legs to pull it off!

Gwen Stefani: Just stunning and sparkling. She always chooses the most original dresses that represent her personality and style.

Jessica Alba: Glamour girl! So old Hollywood. I love the color, the length, the off the shoulder… everything.

Gisele Bundchen: I love this, it’s so edgy and really different from anything else on the red carpet!

Anne Hathaway: She literally looks like a princess! That dress fits her so perfectly.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Soo 60’s Carrie! Shimmery and floaty. I love the wave in her hair, too… really youthful.

Who were your favorites?

ShoeDazzle Donates 250 Pairs to The Couture Girl’s Closet

May 3, 2010 / 19 Comments

Last week, in keeping with their promise, my wonderful team at ShoeDazzle donated 1000 pairs of gorgeous prom shoes to underprivileged girls around the country.

250 of these pairs went to The Couture Girls’ Closet in Temecula, an amazing store that collects and rents prom dresses to young girls for free. What a fabulous idea! I’m so glad we could help these girls get glam and gorgeous for their prom! I’d love to hear from anyone who got their ShoeDazzle shoes from The Couture Girls’ Closet… so leave me a comment if you happen to stop by :)

With Regards to Moving to Miami…

May 3, 2010 / 43 Comments

I’ve been reading a lot of stories online today saying that I’m leaving LA for Miami. Although Beverly Hills will
always be my home, Miami is one of my favorite places and my goal is to purchase a home there and split my time between the two.

So no… I’m not leaving LA for good. But ideally Miami will be my second home :)

You can see me talk more about Miami in the video from the White House Correspondent dinner this weekend.

Mom’s Vintage Valentino, Perfect for Dinner at the White House

May 2, 2010 / 32 Comments

This weekend at the White House I needed to find the perfect dress for such an elegant event. Since it was such a last minute rush to put something together, mom came to the rescue and suggested her beautiful Valentino gown. She bought it in 1984 and it’s from the same collection as Julia Robert’s vintage Valentino gown she wore when she won her Oscar at the 73rd Academy Awards back in 2001! I think its so fab and classic and was the perfect dress for this occasion. Thanks mom for letting me borrow it… do I have to give it back? LOL

An Amazing Dinner at The White House

May 2, 2010 / 31 Comments

I came to the White House Correspondents dinner as a guest of Fox News
Channel and Greta Van Susteren. Greta, her husband and I had so much
fun! What a spectacular event! I decided to go last minute and had nothing to wear, so my mom
suggested I try on her Valentino gown she bought in Paris in 1984. She
wore it to a black tie event back then and always saved it! She didn’t
think it would fit but it fit like a glove! It was perfect! She started
to cry, she’s always so emotional! LOL

The event was just so amazing! I saw everyone from Larry King, Demi Lovato, Michelle Pfeiffer, the Jonas Brothers, and of course my new love Justin Bieber! LOL

It was my dream to see first Lady Michelle Obama, and I saw her and she
is stunning! The President gave a hysterical speech. The night was a
blast!
