I received this email recently from a mother in Jacksonville, FL, whose son, four-year old Christian, is blind due to a condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. His mother has been raising funds in her home town to pay for vision correction surgery for Christian, but she needs your help! She has set up a website for little Christian, where you can learn about his condition, the procedure that can give him the gift of sight and donate money to the fund.

Christian’s mother is a 22-year-old college student who is doing everything she can to raise the finds that can give her son the gift of sight! I admire her for doing everything she can to help her little boy. Let’s help her reach her goal!

  3. Kim, could you please donate to this fund? I looked at the donor names and yours wasn’t on it. For your normal fans, this is a lot of money, but I know not for you. We have seen you shop and drop 20,000$ in one visit… My heart and prayers to Christian.

  7. this is so horrible, i hate seeing stories like this, makes me so sad. christian’s mother is soo strong n i definitely admire her. im going to look into this charity. i dont have a credit card yet, im still too young, but im gonna talk to my momma. haha :)

  8. Kim, I like you but why don’t you help the mother out by actually paying for the procedure to be done? You have more than enough money. I’m sure if you skip buying a couple Prada or Gucci bags you will have money to help the young mother.

  9. WTF!!! FIRST off didnt this mother contact you for help not your fans..and SECOND arent you just rolling in $$$ I mean 20k shopping sprees, etc. and you cant pay for this lil boys surgery..SHAME ON YOU..your a SELFISH,SELF ABSORBED HYPOCRITE HOE!point blank

    • First of all, the mother contacted my mother to ask if I could post a blog to raise awareness and that’s exactly what I did. You have no idea how much money a year I donate and I really think you are being negative instead of seeing the good in people! I am doing what she asked of me, and that’s raising awareness. so SHAME ON YOU for not seeing the bigger picture.

      • THIS QUOTE IS VERY USEFULL !!! LOVE UR ENEMIES AND HATERS THE MOST THEY ARE YOUR BIGGEST FANS!!!!!

      • Dear Kim Kardashina and Family,
I wanted to start out by saying how immensely grateful I am for your help. I could say, “thank you,” a million times and that would not express my gratitude. You have given Christian an unimaginable opportunity by creating awareness for his cause. I am confidante that with this exposure Christian will be getting his surgery very soon. Your website is visited by millions of people every day from all over the world; imagine if 10,000 of those people donated only $5.00 we would have more than enough. I have been waiting for God to touch the right person’s heart and now He has. I’ve seen your family do wonderful things for other people, like when you helped the Katrina victims in New Orleans, and the homeless man in Calabasas. Your whole family is composed of really exceptional people and I thank you for your humanity and kindness. The doors of my home are always opened to you and your family. I hope one day you will meet Christian in person, he is amazing. He started Pre-K at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) this past Monday. He’s doing great and I couldn’t ask for a better school; but I dream of the day he will go to a regular school, and play soccer or baseball, and some day even drive a car. Your contribution has brought use closer to giving Christian his miracle. Thank you!
        Sincerely,
