Spotted: Bruce Lookalike!
My friend Melody spotted a Bruce lookalike and had to
snap a pic with her cell phone! How much does he look like Bruce!? Do
you guys know anyone who looks like Bruce? I’m pretty sure I saw every

My sister is a 19 year old girl that happens to be sexually active well she had a visit to the ObGyn ang they told her she was HPV postitive…what does that mean???
They need to run her more exams

i know how she felt b/c i have hpv. i got the news at work and broke down and cried about it. i was 20 at the time i found out, i’m 24 now.
there are various types of hpv, luckily mine went away on its own. but the biopsy was painful.
luckily it never came back, but i constantly go for checkups. what sucks is that men carry the virus but there is no way of men being tested for it.
so remember safe sex!
Ah sweetie…I hate that doctors don’t explain this better to young girls. The Truth about HPV…IF YOU’VE HAD SEX WITH AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE YOU HAVE HPV. There is at least 20 different kinds of HPV. A few can cause genital warts. A few can cause cancer. Most just cause you to have “abnormal cells” in the uterus. Like I said, if you’ve had sex with at least 2 people you have it. Just because you haven’t tested positive for it doesn’t mean you don’t have it. It just means it’s dormant in your body, until something makes it appear. Doctors don’t know what exactly makes it appear, it can be a number of things; an ongoing illness, suppressed immune system, stress, pregnancy, etc. In some people it never appears, and they never know they have it. If she doesn’t have warts, it will more than likely go away on it’s own. Even if she does have warts, I think they just burn them off when they pop up because there’s no cure for them. The only thing she has to do, is probably what she was doing anyway; get PAP smears once a year. They will check her every year and even if the worse case scenario happens, (which would be the abnormal cells don’t go away and cause cancer), as long as she goes every year the chances are they will catch it early enough to treat her. But she has to get checked every year. Other than that, it’s the same. Tell her she’s going to be fine. She just needs to make sure she goes EVERY YEAR. She’s not dirty, she’s not a bad person, honestly if you’ve been sexually active then you’re a carrier, its just that most people don’t know it. She should be happy she’s a lucky one who found out about it, that way she can make sure she takes care of it.
