A Visit to the Children’s Feeding Center

We all went to a feeding center where kids and older women were fed
twice daily. We made them milk by mixing powder and hot water and fed
them slices of bread. These kids were so appreciative!
Khloe had a camera and they were all in such awe of it! She would
take pictures and then show them their own photo and they would
scream! They were so lovable and they were crying when we left!

The older women have their own shop where they make everything from
clothes to beaded jewelry. Khloe and I bought a bunch of really cool bracelets! They all sang and danced, which was pretty emotional. This was one of my favorite moments from the whole trip!

    All I can say is wow. This is so sad. Its make me angry that we the USA or any other “rich” country can’t send these people more food so they can eat more than twice a day. And eat something other than bread and milk.

      U know the U.S. is more interested in spending the money to further political interest. But all and all with the way the economy is the U.S. Is living completely on loans (mostly from china…or is it Japan?) anyway they pretty much own us. Besides, the U.S. Never gets involved unless they can get something in return (nothing is done for free). Sorry honey that’s the way the world works (it’s all about capitalism and keeping the filthy rich, rich). There are also too many fat cats sitting on capital hill to take care of the little ppl. I don’t agree with it but I just started to pay attention and get more involved this past two years and I now realize it’s a lot more scandalous than I ever thought.
