for Russell Simmons Diamond Empowerment Fund. DEF is a non-profit organization that aims to empower disadvantaged people in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource, through education. Some people online have been judging me for my charity work with the DEF. No charity work should ever be judged, it’s just wrong. We can all do something to help!

I dont know details about DEF…but some charity’s have arterial motives, I guess. Maybe that’s where the criticms coming from,IDK! Anyway…I would love to go to Africa!! Lucky you! My dream trip is Egypt…I swear I lived there in my past life!

im glad you are going to c what happens in the real world and stepping outside of the LA bubble.you are well off and VERY fortunate to be living your lifestyle and I hope u start devoting more time for real causes instead of improving the Kardashian brand.
but regardless, money is not everything and i wish you would focus on other causes than being seen shopping and attending parties.use your fame and time to positively benefit the world.i hope you get hands on in africa! and please post pictures <3

Like I said before, I’m so proud of you for doing this. You will definitely come back with a new perspective on life. Money, cars, clothes will mean nothing to you, that’s if you have the same experience I did. I remember you telling Kourtney in some episode I saw online, where you told her she couldn’t wear that sweater cuz it was new, and you hadn’t worn it yet…I guarantee that won’t happen anymore. At least if you’re anything like me. Things like that just don’t matter. Not when there’s so much suffering going on, there’s no way anyone can be selfish like that after seeing what you’re going to see. That kind of stuff has no value. I’ve been to Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana with an organization CALLED Village Care Int. I’ve been going almost every year since I was in college, and I’m not done. I cried everyday I was there. It’s impossible not to. I hope you enjoy you’re trip, it’s an emotional and spiritual journey. I promise it won’t be your last trip.
