I shot this magazine spread for Ocean Magazine at the most spectacular home in Newport Beach. All my cousins on my dad’s side of the family, who all live in Newport,
came to watch the shoot! Monica and Angela did their thing with the
wardrobe and Troy did the hair and makeup. His work
was so on point! The issue hits the stands in two weeks, but this is an
exclusive sneak peek at the photos! What do you think??

    What’s your diet? what do you eat and what not??

    This is probably one of the best photoshoots you’ve ever done. The clothes are extremely fashionable and the scenes are beautiful. My favorite is the one with you standing on the table. The outfit is FIERCE and the painting in the background is beautiful!!

    i really think if you make a blog/twitter reported what you eat each day and how much/often you exercise EVERYONE would tune in to get a body like yours :)

    We only know about your workout but working out is just the half way.. if you don’t eat right, there won’t change a lot.. so we really want to know what you eat :)

      Jasmine I am kind of sorta following Kim’s fitness plan and it is working for me. I lost 40 lbs within 3 ½ months eating right and working out twice a day. It takes determination to stay focus but once you get inspired and stay motivated you can do it. I don’t know about Kim’s specific diet plan but I can give you the advice I got. I got rid of my biggest problems, sodas, M&M’s, rice and red meat. I eat brown rice, plenty of fruits, steamed vegetables, lean meat, turkey, fish and only baked and grilled meat. I only drink water. I walk every morning @ 5:00 am, eat right during the day and work out again at night. It feels so good to get fit and be able to live a healthy life. Definitely start off slow but most importantly stay motivated. I get jealousy from co-workers and some “friends” but my attitude is that I will get focusing on my goal and not let anyone knock me down.

        aww.. thank you so much for sharing your tips! I’m already doing a lot of the things you’re doing but I can’t let down my biggest temptation: sweets :( but from time to time I need to focus on eating healthy – I think it’s time to:)

          It takes time so don’t give up everything at once. I first started out with the Pepsi because that was my biggest problem. I used to drink 5-6 pepsi’s a day. I started drinking diet then gave it up for water which is better. YOU CAN DO IT! STAY MOTIVATED!!

        Wow, Miami Princess you are motivated!! 5am start! I hope some of it rubs off on me!, just starting my healthy eating plan and exercise today, i’ve a long way to go, i have to lose 6stone (i think thats 84 pounds)so I will need loads of motivating.

          Keep coming to Kim’s blog and I will stay in contact with you to keep you motivated. I just returned from walking 4 miles, I really needed that walk to reflect on some things. Motivation is the key to successful weight loss! Kim inspired me and I will inspire others because I know what it feels like to live in an unhealthy body and feel disgusted. You can do it!!!!

            Miami Princess, thanks for the offer to motivate me. Won’t be able to do as much walking as u yet, i’ve very bad asthma, which i hope will improve with weighloss, will b going out for a walk daily to build it up. will keep in touch. Thanks 4 the support.

            You are very welcome! I know about the asthma. My four year old son has it bad, my mother, 1 of my nieces and 1 of my brothers. It can be a nightmare at times. Remember one day at a time for weight loss. YOU CAN DO IT! I AM ROOTING FOR YOU AND MANY OTHERS!

      I forgot to add that I work out to Kim’s DVD’s after my second workout. I purchased the Butt Body Sculpt and recently purchased the Abs Body Sculpt DVD. They work and it’s easy to follow. So I recommend the DVD’s if you haven’t purchased it. The DVD’s are convenient for me since we are in our rainy season in Miami and on the days it is pouring raining, I put in the DVD and workout for hours at home.

        Hey this is kinda weird but do you feel gross if you eat bad? I started dieting about 6 months ago, and when I really started to notice the weight coming off, and I got used to eating well all the time, the idea of grease made me sick. A few weeks ago, I tried to eat just a plain hamburger from McDonald’s (cuz we were traveling to see family and it was the only thing for like 20 miles) and I felt SO guilty afterwards lol. Then I felt really gross. It was terrible. Even with pregnancy cravings, I still don’t want fast food, and the smell of french fries makes me sick. But I do crave burritos a lot lol.

          I actually do! Initially it was hard for me because I was so used to eating all the wrong food. Now I have gotten so used to eating right that when I do eat something NOT GOOD I want to vomit. I got off track one day and ate my favorite, macaroni & cheese and I thought I was going to die. I was so sick on the stomach. Hey if I want a better body I have to do what’s right and stay focused. Occasionally I will eat something off my diet plan but it’s not like indulging in the wrong foods. Speaking of tacos, I used to LOVE tacos, can’t remember the last time I had one. I used to say when I get pregnant I probably won’t be able to stand the smell of them because I ate them so much. Stay motivated! You can do it!!!!
