Catching Up with Old Friends in Dallas
Kourtney and I took a trip back to her old college town of Dallas, TX.
Kourtney went to SMU in Dallas for her first two years of college
before she transferred to the University of Arizona.
Kourtney and I flew in to attend a charity event and go to a night club called Dolce.
When we planned the trip, we decided to call my dad’s best friend who
lives in Dallas to have dinner with him and his family. It’s been 10
years or more since we have seen them so it was so nice to catch up!
They brought old home videos and pictures of us when we were kids. It
brought back some great memories!
After dinner we headed to the club, and they provided the most amazing
car! It was an armored bank vault truck! They redid the whole inside
with plush couches and flat screens. It’s the ultimate party bus! The party was so much fun and it was really good to catch up with some old friends.

Obviously I’m not Kim but I thought I could help you. I struggled with acne for 10+ years. It started when I was about 13, and I know how you feel. It can be really devastating. I’ve tried EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING you can think of, even thousand dollar laser treatments. Two years ago I started using Yaz, a birth control and Tazorac, a topical cream prescribed by a doctor. My acne went away in about 2 months. Seriously the best thing I’ve ever taken. If Yaz asked me to do a commercial for free I would lol. I know you’re 14, so you’d have to get your parents permission but explain to them that this stuff is a WONDER drug lol no I’m not exaggerating. It also helps with pms symptoms. Oh and if you can’t afford mineral makeup, don’t wear makeup at all while using the Tazorac. It’s going to make you peel like crazy, but only for a few weeks. I know it would be hard, but makeup makes it so much worse, and if you don’t wear any, your acne will go away much quicker. I also use Proactive cleanser. Don’t use the whole system, just the cleanser. And if you need a moisturizer, their Green tea lotion is good or Cetaphil Oil free, you can get it at any store like Wal Mart. And don’t pick! If you do, you will end up with scars. I had scars, and I had to pay over $4,000 in laser scar revision to get them removed.
If these don’t work for you, you would probably have to go on Accutane. It’s a pretty drastic pill, that you take for 6 months, and it works for 5-10 years. It’s extremely invasive, can cause liver damage, depression, etc. but if you’re doctor says that you’re acne is bad enough, it’s worth it. But it has to be really, really bad, like all over your face, back, etc. I hope all this helps. I know how embarrassing this can be. It really affects your self esteem. It has nothing to do with how much you wash your face, it doesn’t mean you’re dirty, and chocolate doesn’t affect it either (although a healthy diet will help improve your skin. Some acne is caused by an imbalance of good and bad bacteria in your intestines and liver. If you eat a healthier diet, it will increase the amount of good bacteria.) Acne is basically determined hormones and in your DNA. So try not to feel bad about yourself because it’s not your fault.
