My family and I are extremely proud of our heritage. As a half-Armenian girl growing up, my dad taught me a lot about Armenian culture and I do feel a real connection with my heritage, so today I would like to honor the Armenian people that were killed in 1915 during the Armenian Genocide.

I feel that the Armenian Genocide is somewhat of a taboo subject, and people are uncomfortable talking about it. Well out of respect for all those innocent people that died, I’m putting a spotlight on it today. Today only 21 countries have recognized the killings as a genocide. I wasn’t there, and I know sometimes history books aren’t necessarily 100% correct, but regardless of the term used to label what happened, over a million people died, and that deserves some recognition on this day.

I’m sending out love to my family and friends, to anyone that had friends and relatives affected by the tragedy and to all Armenians who stand proud!

Bravo for honoring the Armenian Genocide! What happened 94 years ago & its denial led to other genocides. There should not be anymore waiting for the Armenian Genocide to be acknowledged by the Turkish people.

On her official Web-Site, KIM KARDASHIAN put a spotlight on d “Armenian Genocide” on its 94TH anniv., April 24, 2009.

ALL Celebrities from around d world –including those who took on show-biz-friendly names, or any human w/ compassion & genuine character needs 2 do something courageous 2 — …owe it 2 their “perished ancestors” that suffered “Holocaust-type” horrors (& give them a chance 2 b born) need 2 keep their TORCHES-OF-TRUTH alive until they get justice.

The Turkish Ottoman Government who didn’t trust d visiting American & European Christian missionaries that were helping d persecuted minorities, suspected ALL Armenians with spying 4 d allies & wiped them out of E. Anatolia.

Before U get hypocritical & make shallow remarks about Kim, or her family… ASK YOURSELF:

WHAT HAVE U DONE for humanity lately?

Armenian Genocide never happened. It was a self defence. We killed Armenians and they killed us. It wasn’t like American-Indian,Nazi-Jewish,British-Aboriginals,Dutch-Indonesians,Serbian-Bosnian mass killings or murderings. There is no source in this world saying Turks killed Armenians. One more time I repeat that Armenians killed us and we killed them because it was a self defence during world war 1. There is still Armenian community living in Turkey and some of them are my closest friends or respectful old people like Mr.Aslan,Mr.Bogos, my friends Arman,Mardi etc… They have churches in here, they have schools in here, they have hospitals and foundations here in Istanbul (you can check on google) so why do you talk about a subject without knowing anything else about it. Even Armenian patriarch is in Istanbul and if there is genocide then why they are living with us?? We killed each other and I accept this but are you brave enough to accept it as well?? No I don’t think so. Then shake your boot azz.
