Reggie and I came to NYC specifically for the Y-3 show. Y-3 is a division of Adidas, a line by designer Yohji Yamamoto.

The Y-3 show was electric! We sat in the front row with Milla Jovovich, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe, and model Veronica Webb.

Reggie wore Y-3 and Adidas head to toe, and knowing that the Y-3 show is super edgy, I thought it was the perfect time to rock my Martin Margiela cream blazer with funky shoulder pads. I wore it with Temperley leather leggings and YSL shoes. I also wore their gold talons, which sit on the tip of your finger with nails attached. I love them! They are made by Bijules.

After the show my friend Tracy, Reggie and I had dinner with Yohji Yamamoto and the whole Adidas team. It was pretty amazing hearing the stories of how the show was put together and the relief that the show went so well. This was our first show for Fashion Week and I don’t know how we are going to beat this one!

I always love getting glammed up by Mario and Joaquin! Check out the pics from the hotel of us getting ready as well. We were going to do curly hair but after showing Joaquin the jacket he thought the hair would be too much and compete with the blazer, so we just did it straight! I definitely think the make up matched too! No fake lashes, just cool liner that was enough of a statement.
