I just asked my hair stylist Randy for an elegant up-do and that's what he did.
It really helps to print out the picture and bring it with you when going to meet with hair stylists (which I bet you did). That's what I do all the time! I just rip out magazine pics and bring them to the salon so they can copy as closely as possible!
Bear in mind, your hair may be different than mine and that may have been why it turned out differently. Also, hairdos are never exactly the same!

I wanted to find out how the stylist who did your hair for your friend Allison's wedding... to see actually how they did the style. I am getting married in a few months and just started hair trials and my hairdresser has tried to re-create it, but it's difficult not knowing how it was done.
She had a good try and it was nice, but still not quite right. I would love this look for my wedding. It's the best I've seen, but we don't know how it was done.
If you could find out the stylist so I can contact them that would be great!!
