Oh my goodness, I used to use this mascara when I was 13. Good stuff, but my new favorite is Lash Perfection by MAX factor. Cannot beat it at all, just goes on so smooth and layers without any clumping or stickiness.

I ALWAYS see this mascara being recommended and when I actually try it I get horrible allergic reaction to it...It puffs my eyes to the point where I look like a fly!

I have a lipstick question. I have been using Mac Hug Me lipstick and topping it with Nars Turkish delight. I love the combo but it comes off quickly and im constantly reapplying. What do you use to keep your lipstick on throughout the day/night?

I use this all the time, it always gets top honors in In Style for best mascara. Why spend a lot if you can spend $5 and get the same results I say!

Another good one you can get from a local store is Extra Super Lash by RIMMEL. Everyone thinks my lashes are false when I use this one and it only costs about 10 bucks. :)

this mascara is good but theres a better one im form levbanon so i dnt know if u have a brand called "make up for ever" its really professional made in france not only does it give them more volume its also really black and curls them and separates them i tried all the other brands i love changing but this mascara is amazing nyways girl u look gorgeous no matter what u had on honestly!

I've been reading your blog for a while, but this is the first time I was tempted to comment. Although Great Lash is a good mascara, I prefer Maybelline's Colossal Volum' Express Mascara in Classic Black (231). I also have it in Glamour Black, and the Glamour black actually shimmers, but Classic Black is extremely black and really makes my lashes pop.

I know most people will say Lancome mascara is the best and yeah they provide a perfect finish, but I only use this particular Maybelline mascara because it is very thick, the brush is awesome like no other mascara brush and wel..it's just the best, glad u like it too :)

Its been hanging around my house since I was a little girl...and when my mom first allowed me to use make up it was the first thing I used lol. This is by far my favorite affrodable mascara too. But I prefer the Blackest Black line with the curved brush. It just intensifies the original even more!

Now we can relate, I have used Mabelline Mascara BlAcKeSt BlAcK for a long time, and will keep on using it. I am happy to know that you are purchasing the same. Its definitely one of the best.

This is the best ever classic must have. I too have tried like every mascara out there and I always came back to this one. It will never ever let you down!

Oh yeah! and if you ask any make up artist they will tell you all the high end mascaras are cool but the best on the market is in the pink and green bottle. Maybeline! Baby!!!

Has anyone tried the new mascara from Maybeline that has microfibers- its called Extend lash or Extension Lash. Let me know how it works. I can't wait to try it myself.

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one! I think this is the first mascara I ever used, and (so far) it's the best. I think it will always be a classic.
I have a question -- when you apply more than one coat, how do you get it to go on without being all clumpy? I find that when I put on my 2nd coat, my lashes are already dry and they have a tendency to clump up when I try to put more on. Just wondering how you get that to work since your lashes always look flawless...

I am so happy you love it too, the reason why I love it and use it all the time is because after the third application my eyelashes look full and dark... You know I somehow find myself being quite susceptible to your fashion and make up advice; i.e. I've bought your Nars lipgloss, got hooked on MAC and spent a few days seriously considering bangs (they definitely would not suit me!).

So, I think it is nice of you to recommend a good mascara for those of us who don't have the budget to drive a Bentley. But I am aware that a lot of celebrities and beauty bloggers get paid by companies to advertise their products. And I also know that you are quite the business lady..!

I am a Mary Kay beauty consultant and I use our ultimate mascara. I absolutely LOVE it. I used to use Loreal and I've tried the zuma one from MAC but honestly to me none of them compare. I love the one I use!!

This is the number 1 selling mascara in America and Canada. It's great and affordable and you can buy it at pretty much any store. I heard alot of make-up artist's prefer to use it on their clients. I use the blackest black waterproof kind...it doesn't flake or smudge.

I have been using Maybelline Blackest Black mascara for the longest. I love it. A great product that is not even close to being expensive. Looking forward to the hair and skin care products Kim :)

Me too Kim. I feel that it beats all of the ones on the market. I have tried everything from Dior to Wet and Wild and always go back to the classic pink and green Maybelline. I like the color in blackest black.

I have however found that I also really like Mac's Dazzle Lash in Black its awesome also, and have never really been a fan of their mascaras.

Oldie but Goodie!! My mom got me using this mascara when i was younger and still resort to it today! I like to switch up my mascaras but there is nothing like putting on one you know will do the trick!
