Rumor control: I have not given up fur

Recently I have seen all of these blogs and magazine articles saying
that I have given up fur. I definitely commend people who have taken
that step to give it up, but to just be honest I have not.

Khloe did the new ad for PETA and that completely makes sense for her — she hasn’t eaten red meat in over ten years and it’s a because that’s
close to her heart.

I haven’t bought any new furs since Khloe’s PETA ad but I definitely will not look like a hypocrite when I wear fur and people put up these
fake stories about me turning over a new leaf and giving up fur!

These articles also stated that Reggie was going to dump me if I didn’t
give up fur and that’s just not true. We went to Sundance last year and
I have done interviews sharing a funny story about how I was wearing a
fur vest there: As we drove up a hill to our Park City hotel we saw animal
rights activists with cans of paint, protesting. Reggie rolled
the window down yelling “she’s in here!” He was joking and certainly
wouldn’t dump me over it.

I respect PETA to the fullest along with any other animal rights organizations. But I just wanted to set the record straight!

    YOU ARE TRULY A DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING. I HOPE NO I PRAY THAT ONE DAY YOU CAN FEEL THE PAIN THAT THE ANIMALS YOU CHOOSE TO WEAR EVERYDAY FEEL.PERHAPS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE SKINNED ALIVE, ELECTROCUTED, CLUBBED TO DEATH FOR WORTHLESS PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

    Please STOP wearing fur!!!! You are much too beautiful and brilliant for that nonsense. Donate your old furs to PETA they will paint it RED ( Ithink), but the best part is that they will give the fur to homeless people to keep warm! PLEASE!

    HEY KIM!!! I RESPECT YOUR HONESTY SOOOO MUCH…THAT IS EXACTLY WHY UR MY IDOL…BC UR HONEST AND TRUE TO YOURSELF. YOU ARE SO REAL AND I LOVE THAT ABOUT U. I LIKE FUR TOO AND I DONT THINK WE SHOULD BE JUDGED FOR WEARIN IT…I RESPECT EVERY1..FUR OR NO FUR.

    Don’t listen to all the small minded anti fur stuff written here Kim. You did good to be honest and true to yourself. Wear your furs with pride.
    For every one anti fur PETA supporter, there are thousands of fur wearers cheering you for standing up to them

    Just because Khloe gave up fur doesn’t mean that Kris, Kourtney and Kim have too. I respect Kim for being honest about it. BTW – there is no need for PETA supports to be violent in their comments!!

    Kim, remember PETA supports terrorist organisations financially, it too euthanises dogs in its animal shelters, the ’skinning alive’ rubbish seems to have been a put up job, and faux fur uses oil, looks rubbish, and doesn’t recycle. Keep your style -
