UPDATE: The Armenian orphanage foundation raised $90,000 the night we attended their event! We are so proud!!!

Khloe, Rob and I went to meet Archbishop Hovnan Derderian of Armenia!

There was a charity event for the orphanages in Armenia and we went to support. We were taught how to greet the prime minister and also met Mark Geragos (he is a famous attorney who was friends with my dad)!

Anything we can do to lend our support to our heritage we gladly do!

We are dying to go to Armenia! Hopefully this year we will go! No one in my family has been back, and it’s really important to me that we go!

  1. Hey Kim!! I’m so glad that you are close to your Armenian roots, because it is important to be proud of who you are :)I emailed your mom’s assistant, C.York, about my humanitarian trip to Armenia. I hope you get to read it and respond, I’d be ecstatic!!!

  2. Kim, honey, you do realize that Srpazan is the religious leader of the Western Diocese, and not the prime minister right? Armenia doesn’t have a prime minister, we have a president, and a corrupt one at that.
If you’re still interested in visiting Armenia, I would suggest going with the Fuller Center for Housing. I did the trip this past summer, and it was absolutely life-changing. You help build a house for an impoverished family in a village for several days, and then you tour the country for the remaining days. We stay in the Marriot in Yeravan, and eat and do a bunch of activities in the city. It does require some manual labor, but it’s the most rewarding feeling to know that you helped your people.
