Russell Simmons hosted a huge charity event the other night for South Africa and the Diamond Empowerment Fund. Just being around Russell is so inspirational.
I had a chance to meet amazing people like Gayle King and Russel's brother Rev Run! (His wife Justine is the sweetest lady ever, by the way.)
Cassie and I were showing off our green bracelets, which I've decided to purchase for all my friends for Christmas gifts this year because proceeds go to empower economically challenged people in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource.
I was not asked to be an ambassador for the U.N. (as some reports have suggested today) but it would be an honor and I definitely plan on helping out the U.N. in the future. I am also excited for the work that Russell and I have planed in our fight for Africa!

You look great with your new hair style, but I have to say I love your other look so much better. I think the bangs hide your beautiful eyes and your perfect eyebrows!!! It kinda hard to see how your eye make-up looks that everyone loves! But if you wanted a change... its works!

Hey Kim,
I was logging onto my hotmail acct to check my email and on the 'welcome' page they have a msn today section of different articles. Well the 1st article is '11 most lamest blogs' and with that is a pic of your blog home page. I clicked on the article to read more and they added you as a 'lame' blog. I totally disagree with this article. I just thought maybe you should know about this. I just wanted to tell you i think you need to keep doing you and forget what they say. I know though you wont let it get to you.

Game reserves to see the big 5, Pilanesberg is next to Sun City so thats easy to do if you stay at the Palace. You also don't need malaria injections because it's a Malaria free zone. Shamwari (near Port Elizabeth - an hour or so's plane trip away)
