I can understand not doing it for every event. Since,if you are like most women you tend to use the same colors most of the time. If you totally mix it up then I would post it but I wouldn't feel pressure otherwise. I think it's great how up to date you keep this place :D

I felt quite sad reading this. I felt sad for you, because once again you are having to defend yourself because a fan/some fans get overly compulsive about knowing every singly piece of make up you have ever worn.

Any reasonable person would understand the things you are saying; especially about that you hardly wear a different foundation every day of the week so more often than not it is going to be the same. You shouldn't have to defend yourself like this?

And please don't worry about someone saying they are no longer a fan of yours because you didn't write down your makeup that day!?! That is clearly obsessive on that person's part... first of all it is quite shallow. I don't think it is much different to choosing to end a friendship over something very small and petty. How big a fan could that person be if they were ready to "walk" (so to speak) and decide they were no longer a fan over something so minute?

I could understand a true fan maybe not being a fan of yours if you did something really insulting and that really pissed everyone off (!) which of course you haven't, don't and won't do!

I'm reminded of when I really went off a celebrity a little while back. It was Isaiah Washington from Grey's Anatomy. Man, did I like him! But then of course that whole gay slur thing came out and was clearly very offensive to a lot of people. That was a big deal. And even though he apologised, it still cut pretty deep. So I, along with many other people, kind of went off him because I lost respect for him. But if he had promised to try and let us know which sports socks he wore every day of the week, and then didn't, I would hardly "not be a fan" for that reason!

Please Kim; don't worry about these ridiculous people who claim to be fans and then are ready to write you off over something so small!

The point is; you have tried writing your makeup and clothes etc as much as you can. I have really noticed you have been writing it a lot, even down to what Kourtney is wearing, etc. No one in their right mind would expect you to list every single item every single day. For goodness sake, that is crazy. I really hope you weren't too frustrated by the whole stupid thing and please don't think any less of us real fans, who will stand by you and continue to love seeing you and reading about you etc.

Also like once I wrote a really nice long post and there was nothing bad in it; i was very complimentary of you which I always am, but the post was never posted, and I was a little disappointed. But I'm hardly going to turn my back on you and start hating on you for it!

Alot of celebs do blogs as a way to promote things they are doing and to make money, it's no big deal, but if these blogs didn't make money, im sure no celeb would do them, including kim. It is obvious that celebs do blogs to promote and make money. However, Kim's blog is interesting than most other celeb blogs. When is the last time Khloe had a give away or Audrina from The Hills on their blogs? At least Kim updates her blog on a daily basis and not once or twice a week.

hey kim, just wanted to say that i totally agree with everything you said. some people need to realize you're a very busy woman with not a lot of time on your hands, but you do do a good job of letting us know what you're wearing and keeping us filled in. obviously we can just look at your eyeshadow and that to see what colours you're wearing....anyways i'm still a big supporter of TEAM KIM haha and i always will be because you are such a cool women to look up to...you have accomplished so much and you're still just starting...watch out world haha TEAM KIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Kim, you really didn't have to explain yourself. I said it once and I'll say it again..if someone is going to stop being a fan of yours simply b/c you don't post what make-up or outfit you're wearing every single post, then they probably were never a real fan to begin with. I'm just glad you even do a blog. The only other celebrity that I know who has a blog is Kanye West. I know how much time it takes to do these, so in the end even if you do a little to keep your fans feeling close, then that's enough. Because real fans don't ever really leave. Thanks for the post.

I think people should be happy that you give us any makeup advice at all! I dont see any other celebrities giving out so much useful style/makeup tips!!! You do more than enough for us fans!!! I think people just need to realize you have more to do with your life than post make-up colors. Like seriously?? It's not even that serious for the chick to get all emotional. At least you do what you do now because the majority of celebrities wouldn't even dare doing a blog.

i think "normal" people have a busier life than kim does. But still she should never have promised to list her make-up in every blog, she needs to realize that some young minded girls cling to every thing kim says. Kim - You don't have to apologize for this. Do what you can, it's a little unrealistic for someone to expect you to write down what make up you wear every single day of your life. You have posted outfits and make-up and the video's are very helpful. There is no need to do them constantly I mean once you get the process down it's the same only the eye colors change like you said. Do what you can, you are doing fine in this area don't let the "wilma's" get under your skin.

Kim, I think it is so unfair to you that you have to explain yourself all of the time. As for the so-called fans that visit your site and make comments that criticize you for what you are not doing is ridiculous. Anyone with any common sense should know how much time it would take to list every single thing you wear and every color and brand of your makeup.

It's really sad Kim, that know matter how much you give or how much you tell, it still isn't enough. People are always going to want more from you, and I think you should find a way to be ok with what you are giving. In which, in my opinion is more than enough. I personally love logging on to your site to see what you have going on in your life, how you spent your day and of course, what you are wearing.

Thanks for all you tips, pictures and simply just sharing. Your efforts are more than appreciated and for some us, don't go unnoticed.

hey but you guys have to realize that Wilma was talking about a promise kim had made, it's not like Wilma was expecting kim to do something that kim said she wouldn't do, but it's weird she would post it that many times, but still it's really kim's fault for saying "i promise to post my make-up in each blog"...not that it matters to me because i do my make-up based on my own features ! Inspiration comes from the general ideas you post about make-up and style--people who expect up-to-the-second updates about what you're wearing need to realize this is an unrealistic expectation!

lol this will make Wilma's day. But that's funny how Wilma got kim on her promise and made her re-tract what she said. Im sure the celebuzz team was getting sick of reading the same thing from Wilma in every single post. Kim she didn't just type it in one post, it was like 20 posts. And i think when these fans want a video blog, they just mean from your own personal camera, not the ones you do for E news or other shows. The ones on your own camera would be free, i read comments where they say they want to see YOU doing your own make-up...lol i don't know why though.

While I think it was really nice of you to post this, I don't think it was necessary for you to explain yourself to "Wilma." I think that most of your fans know that you cannot post the makeup & designers you are wearing EVERY SINGLE TIME, and I don't think we expected you to.
