I saw that you posted a comment so I figurd I'd comment you back. Micah is an inspiration to so many people.He has touched me and so many others. Nevergive up hope and ALWAYS wish for miracles. I am so honored I was able to be a small part of his life.I met Micah in May ofthis year on a fishing excursion my husband & Drew Brees put on for children @ Ochner & Childrens. I have kept in touch w/ his nurses since then. I didn't know just how sick he wasuntil about 2 weeks after our event.Something drew me to him. I took several pictures through out the courseof the day but I had ALOT of Micah, so I decided I'd get them copied and send them to him.That's when I found out how sick he was. He was teamed up w/ John Stitchcomb of the Saints I called John immediately he flew in the next day and went straight to the hospital Ithink they played UNO and did puzzles, he brought him goodies as did I. He was giving his mom a hard time about the food when I got there, so I settled it...I bought him pizza & coke, he was very happy:)and I was so happy to do it. Not a week has gone by that I have not thought about him since our meeting. i brought him a brag book w/ all the pictures from his fishing trip I know he had a ball. I am so glad we were able to make him laugh & forget all that he hasbeen through and is now going through. Even if it was for 1 day. I know how these kids look upto and idolize these celebrities. We have people in this world who are so jealous they can't see straight and obviously they have some on this site. If they are such "haters" of Kim & Reggie why are they even reading her blogs. Grow up people. This is a little angel wanting to be "normal" for 1 day, wanting to meet 'HIS" idols.We don't care what,who,why or any of the insignificant gibberish other people might think or write on this blog.Do know that they we have MANY people praying for your family & Micah. I get that you wanted to make a difference in someone's life.. and its amazing that you did. But did you think for a second that it might not be appropriate to post a pictures of a child whose going to pass away in two weeks? Or at least to not broadcast it to the world that he has two weeks to live? You were probably just concerned with showing off how nice you were too him.
Think about some things before you post it, just because you like posting your entire life, doesn't mean you should post personal information about others.

Kim K girl you are the sweetest person right now, that is such a good thing you did you made his day, it made me cry because I just came from one of my friends funeral he died on the 5th he got paralyzed 2 years ago he was only 17 when it happend at his high schools friday night game, and Dick Butika from Chicago came and that made him happy and Micah seeing u,chris paul, and Reggie made his day. I had the honor of getting to meet Micah also.My husband has teamed up with Drew Brees the last 2 years to put on Brees on the Seas. We take sick children from Children's Hospital fishing for a day along w/ Saints players.The kids love to see celebrities. It is very humbling to participate in this event. Micah has been in the hospital for months and I was able to visit him a few months ago, I will be going again tomorrow it is really good to see celebrities as yourself and Reggie help to put a smile on his face. I know it means alot to them. Drew's event usually takes place in May. I have some pics of Micah from the event if you would like to have them.

I'm sitting at work crying like an idiot but the story touched me. I know that you quote on quote claim to fame may have not been exactly what you wanted, but I'm glad that you have turned it into a positive and choose to be appreciative of what you have and bless others. Keep up the good work

Yes Reggie is awesome. He is great I think he is the one who bought out the humanitarian side to Kim and that's a good thing. Its strengths and weaknesses in a relationship and that's a positive thing. Who cares if she didn't do it on her own before she came from a sheltered environment at least she is doing it now.

Reggie is awesome...he's been doing charity work for a very long time and hasn't really been recognized for it...some people just do things because they know it's the right thing to do...and really only an evil person would turn down a sick child. I'm sure reggie meets lots of sick children during his games because the make a wish foundation as well as other children's foundations work with sports teams.

You should really calm down. No one has left any negative comments except for you! It is wonderful that this little boy got that experience, all people are saying is that Kim has to preach to the world about her one good deed for the year.

How sad for the young boy and his family. Kim just wondering, was Micah given that suite box to sit in as part of some organization like the "make a wish foundation"? I worked in an oncology department for a year and medical expenses can be through the roof. Just wondering if that suite was donated to him by some nice person or was it his family's suite ? I'm sure he would have met reggie that day regardless of whether you were there or not because im sure that's the reason he was there in the first place. But it was nice of you to talk to him and to post this so that your fans can get inspired to go out and do something charitable, even if it's donating their time. Charity work is something everyone should do and it's not so you can get a pat on the back, it's so you can inspire others to do something, however big or small. Anyone in kim's shoes would have done the same unless they are cold-hearted.

Damn Kim, its too early in the morning, you already got me crying. An employee of mine had a baby boy last year and he has cancer. Every time I see him I burst into tears. These kids are so amazing, the strength and maturity, and wisdom they show is incredible.

Aww, what a sweet thing of you to do! This story makes me SO sad, but so thankful that my family and I are healthy. I will keep Micah and his family in my prayers for sure, and I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through right now. What makes you beautiful Kim, is that your inside radiates to the surface.You and Reggie are both beautiful, blessed people on the inside and that makes you beautiful outside. All he ever wanted was to love and be loved, so I loved him, loved him with all my heart even though I knew he was going to pass sometime soon and let me tell you Kim if I could do it all over again I would. He died a happy man so my tears now are worth it. Awww that is so precious and uber sweet of you Kim and Reggie. You not only made his day but I bet made his life complete. I would have cried too if I had seen him. Its so heart breaking to see kids suffer like this. But its heart warming when you can do something to bring a smile on their face. Kudos to you for doing that for him and his family.

just to add onto that...TOTALLY not trying to disrespect the family...but there are a lot of people out there who will try to take advantage of your celebrity status...so you should always be cautious...like how do you know 100% for sure that the kid really was expected to die in two weeks? there's always the possibility he could have been wearing the mask for something else.

once again, i absolutely mean no disrespect to the family, and i guess it's always better to give people the benefit of the doubt and trust them.

That was really awesome what both you and Reggie did! I cannot imagine the pain his parents have to go through, but hope they will find comfort in the memories they have with Micah and the joy he brought to them. Glad you could make one of his dreams come true!

How precious Micah is. I'm sure that put a place in his heart that he will carry with him. It is the simple things in life that we can do, that bring the greatest joy to others. His determination to be at the game, despite his illness puts life into perspective. That our everyday problems are not so problematic after all.

Girl you are so sensitive like me. I would've been trying to hold back tears in front his mom. I'm glad the Micha had a chance to meet Reggie and pow wow for a while. He was probably so happy. This was a touching blog.

GREAT POST TODAY! I actually read this story yesterday on saintsreport.com and I was blown away and touched. You and Reggie have the heart of gold. That was really nice of you and you will get rewarded for your good deed. I get very emotional when I see young children suffering with illnesses, it tears me up. I wanted to be a nurse growing up but it just tore me up seeing the children sick that I did a career change. I thank you for not being a typical celebrity that brushes people away. That was very nice, but that is the LEAST anyone who is SO fortunate SHOULD, not COULD, do. I am surprised at all the comments about Kim's niceness, yet not everyone is writing something about the little boy. I find it even sadder that many people think it is such a great thing that Kim did. I would do that without even thinking about it, and even more, just as everyone should. I have helped homeless people, bought them meals, taken old people home in my car who are just walking blocks with their groceries. However, that is my responsibility as a human being. Not a generous thing that I do. It is a sad world we live in......
